Would definitely agree; he is uncaring and unavailable.

I was Dr. Alsip's patient for quite awhile. When an emergency arose and I needed him most, he abandoned me - left me in the hospital and told the staff I was a "legal liability" and that he wanted nothing more to do with me. He's a smart guy and does a good job pretending to be empathic, but look how quickly he starts printing your bill and swiping your card....before you can even finish your last sentence. I would highly advise you look elsewhere for a psychiatric practitioner. His abandonment of me during a time of critical need has had a deep and long lasting effect on me. Luckily, I found someone who is much better and truly compassionate. Don't make the same mistake I did....trust me.

Alsip pretends to be compassionate and understanding. Although he is experienced and knowledgeable about pharmacology, he is DANGEROUS in that if you are ever of a true crisis he will abandon you and refer to you as a liability. Do not be fooled: he charges hundreds of dollars for a 20 minute (at best) meeting, he has more patients than he has time to serve, and if you are in need of his services due to a crisis he will dump you like yesterday’s trash. Do yourself a favor and stay away. The positive reviews on this site were written by his two office administrators. He has been reported to NYS for his unethical behaviour.
