Dr.French is a wonderful doctor! He always listens, is compassionate, and cares for the over progress and benefits of his patients. When i go to the Dr I enjoy setting his friendly and smiling face.

Most of the information is out of date. Some of the information, when I call a doctor, they have never heard of him. So it is not only out of date, some of it is fictitious.

Dr. French is friendly and warm to a patient, but also competent and honest. He is also at least a reasonably good listener who doesn't brush off everything one says out of hand.

Dr . French is one of the most thorough and thoughtful physicians in practice. He is as overwhelmed by too many patients. It always amazes me when patients expect doctors to be timely when it is impossible to do so in primary care. In addition, the patient who stated that Dr. French does not know how to great DM because of medication choices does not understand the disease. You can use Type 2 meds in so-called Type 1 patients, when indicated . Stop reading the inserts!!

My husband was diagnosed with COPD and Dr French has been able to keep him OFF of oxygen for over 3 years. Husband is now disable with the COPD and diabetes, and Dr French is keeping him going. I wish the clinic that he works at would hire more doctors, All of the doctors are overworked and overwhelmed with more appointments than any of the doctors can handle in a prompt manner. Even with the overwhelming about of patients, Dr French always tries to get us the time we need. ONLY problem I have with him, is his scheduling staff.

I moved to town and chose Dr. French as my Primary Care Physician for my HMO plan. I filled out all of the forms, while waiting at least 45 minutes in the office (I had the first appointment of the day and the doctor was running that late). I told him I had Type I diabetes and needed prescriptions written for blood glucose strips and insulin. He complied, but also gave me free samples of oral medication---which is intended for Type II diabetics. Needless to say, I never went back. I seriously considered filing a complaint, but doubted it would do any good. Hopefully this site will help someone avoid him.
