I found myself in need of a neurosurgeon STAT for a fully ruptured disk with loss of feeling and control of my entire leg. Dr. Howes came highly recommended by a mutual friend. While the conditions that arose which required his services are not something I would wish on anyone, if you happen to have an ailment which requires his skill set, Dr. Howes is your guy. I can't imagine the entire process being any smoother, or the outcome of the surgery being any better. Seven weeks after a microdiscectomy for the 95% of the nucleus pulpulsa leaked out, I am pain free! In my opinion as a consumer of his services, he was professional, prompt and personable. I'd recommend him to any of my friends and family if they were looking for an outstanding neurosurgeon. Changed my life! Thank you, Dr. Howes

Dr. Howes is an excellent physician. I had a great surgical experience. I highly recommend him to anyone needing spine surgery.

Dr Howes performed a back surgery on me that allowed me use of my legs. For approximately 3 years I could not walk on my own without falling about 8-10 times per day neither was I able to operate my vehicle. After he performed the surgery on my back I have not fallen since and I now have control of my legs and am able to not only walk again but to drive as well. I thank God for him.

When I was diagnosed with a brain tumor I was very scared! Dr.howes explained to me that the tumor would need to be removed with surgery. Dr. Howes was able to remove the tumor and give me back my life!

Oh my, what can I say about a surgeon who took on a case others wouldn't, spent more time in surgery to make sure every issue was resolved and did everything possible to ensure I would not need more surgery in the future?Dr. Howes gave me my life back.I can't say enough about this surgeon. He is kind, caring, spends a lot of time with you and is a gifted surgeon.Before surgery, I could barely walk due to pain in my legs and back. The day after surgery, I walked the length of the hospital without any leg pain.One year later, pain is still gone and I am out in the yard enjoying gardening again.Look no further if you have serious back trouble.
