Thid guy knows his stuff

I first went to see Dr. Knopf because after having various surgeries my shoulders and neck I wanted to find out why my body seemed to be falling apart . I was only in my young 40's. I was also experiencing hip pain. My own doctor didn't have a diagnosis as to why I was having these health problems and pain. On the first visit to see Dr. Knopf I told him my health history. He examined me and listened intently on what I had to tell him. Then he said he wanted to do some blood tests for 1) Rheumatoid Arthritis, 2) Lupus, 3) Ankylosing Spondelytis . The blood test showed I had the third one, Ankylosing Spondelytis. Dr. Knopf referred me to a Rheumatologist who then treated me and taught me about my autoimmune disease. Dr. Knopf really listens carefully and he is very patient and kind. I always leave his office feeling like he understands what I am telling him and he always sets in motion or takes action to help me with whatever health issue I am having. When my husband and I were… struggling with how to help our son Dr. Knopf told us about a counselor we could see. This counselor has helped us tremendously and we are so very thankful. I have never had a bad experience going to see Dr. Knopf therefore I don't mind at all when it is time for me to go to see him. I am just so thankful that he is my doctor and that I feel so comfortable and confident that he will help me with my health issues.

Dr. Knopf is a professional, caring doctor whose expertise covers ALL areas. I developed a sore that was of great concern. An internist and skin specialist were unable to help me. It developed into a severe infection. Dr. Knopf was able to diagnose and treat the problem on the first visit. He took time to analyze my condition in a thorough manner. He is one of the best physicians I know.

Just my personal opinion that he's more interested in what he gets from drug companies than his patients. He makes the diagnosis of ADHD for people who don't go in there looking for that and write a prescription. They're handed a questionnaire prior to the appointment about ADHD when they're there to get a proper referral to someone else for post partum depression. Also gives those with Bi-Polar disorder the diagnosis of ADHD... if he knew his psychiatric disorders he would know to NEVER give someone with Bi-Polar disorder stimulants (i.e. Adderall), let alone someone with a massive history of abusing everything that can be abused. I know multiple patients of his, all are treated for mind - not body. Stick to your profession...
