Dr. Gregory B. Lanford, MD

I was referred to Dr Langford in 2017 for a Bulging Disc in my lower back. I finally came to my senses & had surgery on 6-18-18. My experience has been Amazing from the receptionist, nurses, anesthesia crew, & Dr. I know behind every great Dr is great prep crew. I received a call 2 days after surgery to check on me & a card in the mail today thanking me for trusting them. Wow, I’m very impressed & so pleased with everything. Thank God for an awsome facility & caring people. 5 stars from this chick on a mend!

I have seen Dr. Lanford many times over the years. First time I saw him I was prepared for my second back surgery (first one was done by a surgeon in another city). Instead of surgery Dr L recommended injections that were able to hold off my second surgery for years! Eventually, I did need the second surgery which he performed flawlessly (spinal fusion - 2009). I saw him again 8 years later for a cervical fusion. I would see no other surgeon and drive over 2 hours for every visit. It's well worth it. Literally, He has given me my life back multiple times. I recommend him to everyone. He is personable, cool, and brilliant.

Greg Langford did all 4 of my surgeries. He cared about my life, my husband, and my family. He always gave it to me straight, and told me how bad it could be. I trust him. I recently brought my Mom to see him, and there is no one more important to me. He was kind to her, he explained things in layman's terms for her, and he got us to the oncologist right away. We are fighting 2 cancers right now, but if it hadn't been for him, we might have gone with the first opinion she got, and she might not be around for me now if she had. Thanks. You mean more to me than you know.

I think Dr Lanford is an excellent surgeon! He is thorough, kind, patient and caring! He listens and is easy to talk with; he also answers my questions. He is a wonderful doctor!

Dr Langford doesent spend much time explaining your problems in fact doesent say much at all. Saw him for back pain and issues wound up having more pain after several ordered proceedures. Didn't want to discuss issues after having disc fracture repaired or increased pain issues. Just dropped intrest inmy problems. He and staff are extremily hard to reach after procedures if problems arise... not a great comfort to a suffering patient. Clinic is like swing door....got you in and get you out with or without helping.

This doctor started off pretty good, listened to everything I said, took my symtoms serous, seem to care about the back issue and pain, after a long road of treatment, surgery was recommended and done. Right after surgery was done, I started to feel worse from day one after surgery, even had more issues with legs, and weakness and pain, this is when he lost interest, stopped listening to problems, didn't care anymore about the issues getting worse, his staff turned mean as well, they stopped returning calls, and pretty much just said your on your own and deal with issues with out us. All he wants is to get you in surgery, collect that big surgery money, then he is done, he got that big money, so he could careless anymore if he made you better or worse, He got paid that's all that matters to him

After surgery service bad, actually walked out and left me on exam table and left the building without notifying me or staff

I heard about Dr Landford through several sources. I was able to get an appointment extremey quick. I could tell during the next few moments that what my friends were saying about him were true. He is friendly, listens well, and is compassionate about all his patience. After a fresh MRI, he found the source of my pain that I have suffered over the last two years. He discussed very thoroughly the procedure he was going to perform and in a language that I could understand. BTW, his staff is as professional as he is. He performed the surgery and when I was back into the room, I got up without pain down the bask of my leg. It was ALL gone. I feel like I can have a normal life again. If you have back issues, I would highly recommend him. He is one of a kind.

I had a fusion back in 2005. Dr. Lanford was such a good Dr. He is so knowledgable and I had complete confidence in him. In fact if I ever need a Neurosurgeon again it would be Dr. Lanford.
