Dr. Gregory Scott Lang, MD

I've been going to Dr. Lang for 6 years + with issues with bladder and prostate. He performed 6-7 surgeries on my bladder over a 2 year period, leaving my bladder a mess. He admitted that he was there to simply treat my symptoms so every time a tiny tumor came up, he did a surgery, leaving me the last time with blood in my urine for 8 months. He was not interested in finding a cure for low-grade bladder cancer. He ignored my prostate and the rise in my PSA; he ignored the link with low vitamin D and prostate and bladder cancer. Didn't even want to run a vitamin D test. Had to go to my primary care and actually had to fight with her to get it and it came back low. I finally got fed up with the run around and went to UCSF recently for a 2nd opinion and found that I now have high grade prostate cancer in 2 areas L&R sides of prostate with a poor prognosis. My prostate cancer had been in remission since 2002 and certainly didn't get to high stage overnight. Dr. Lang did too little and now… it may be too late for me to combat this latest diagnosis. Don't trust your doctor simply because he has good bedside manners.

Only cares about money won't see you if you've been referred to him if your Medi-Cal.

This guy knows his stuff!! He is very busy, but I can see why. It is worth the wait. With a great personality his bedside manner is wonderful, but he is an amazing surgeon as well. I did my research and this is your man! My surgery went better than expected.
