Dr. Gregory F Piro, DO

I wanted to share my horrible experience with Dr. Piro and Ashley in order to hopefully prevent others from going through something similar. I would never use him again. I had been seeing Dr. Piro for many years. He failed to diagnose a spot on my nose and forehead as cancer even after full body scans. His incompetency has led to many major surgeries. My wife and others also were seeing Dr. Piro and Ashley and they failed to diagnose their cancers too. A small spot on my nose, was improperly diagnosed even as the spot continuously grew larger and unsightly. Misdiagnosis required major surgery resulting the loss of a major part of my nose only 2 years later. After I stopped seeing Dr. Piro, another doctor found cancer on my temple that had been around for at least 5 years. I was told by Dr. Piro during this time not to worry about that spot.

I am more than happy with Ashley that I see there she is quick and efficient. However you cannot go there without having any where from 1/2 an hour to an hour wait regardless of what it is even if it's just a peek which takes 10 seconds. My last experience I called right before the appointment to make sure they were running on time because I only get a 1/2 an hour for lunch and they told me they were when I got there 10 minutes later there were magically 4 patients ahead of me. So I was either blatantly lied to or they obviously double and triple book. And it is like that every time I go there. In a regular office if you complain they apologize but not this office. In fact they seemed extremely upset that I would dare to even make a comment. And then I got a letter in the mail saying that It was bothersome to their office staff that I complained lol. This is an office that thinks that their time is more valuable than yours. They don't perform the usual activities that most… medical offices do such as answer billing questions and send out reminders. you would think they would have time to be nice with all of their free time lol. I will be more than happy to go to another office where my time is respected. :( I notice a lot of comments on here about the horrible office staff I hope the doctors wise and up and get new people.

This place is a rip off! I wasn't even there to see the doctor and got changed for it

Both of my sons regularly visit the Howell location. For two days, I've had a strange, extremely itchy, red burning rash on both of my arms. Today, it almost has me in tears and is driving me crazy. I called Dr. Piro's office to see if they'll take me today or tomorrow and they said new patients are 2-3 weeks out. I explained that my boys are regular patients there, but I have not personally been seen. Didn't matter. She rudely treated me as a new patient that has no value, even though I've literally spent thousands of dollars there over the last six months. They will not get another cent from my family.

I have been a patient of Dr Piro for several years and I have been very pleased. The office is pleasant and the staff very friendly.

I have seen Dr. Pirouette for several years now and have consistently found he was very professional, courteous and very willing to take time and answer any questions I had. His staff have equally been polite and very efficient in their pre and post appointment contacts with both my husband (who is also a patient) and myself. The office wait time before appointments typically is only 5-10 minutes, but has been approximately 20 minutes or so on the rare occasion. The wait time to see the doctor once in the examination room is usually less than 5 minutes. I would recommend Dr. Piro to friends.

Many hard spots and moles from years of working in sun got uglier with age. Dr. Piro, sensitive to need, removed many in office treatments.

I was able to get a new patient appointment right away. Ashley and Dr. Piro were fantastic!

My experience with Dr. Piro and his staff was top notch. I've been seen by Ashley also and she is very knowledgable in dermatology and extremely friendly. I feel very comfortable in this office in every way. I recommend them to all my family and friends.

I was happy to get an emergency apt. with Dr. Piro so promptly. Scheduling and paperwork were very easy and convenient. When I arrived to the office was very clean and staff were all very helpful and friendly. When Dr. Piro came into my room after only a 15 minute wait he was very pleasant. He spent time diagnosing my rash. He also gave me a lot of information regarding my condition and resources where I could look up more information on future questions I might have. When my follow up visit came my rash was all cleared up! I would recommend him to others.
