When I was referred to Dr. Grant for a skin cancer check due to family history, I was told she was booking into November. Imagine my surprise to get an appointment within a little over 1 week. It was to be at 4pm, and they do not accept cash - but with the high deductible insurance, that wasn't an issue. I arrived at 3:50pm knowing there would paperwork to fill out. I unfortunately had my 6 and 3 yr olds with me as well, but hoped for no longer than 1 hour total including visit. At 4:52, I asked if it was normal to not have gotten in yet and was told yes. They called another patient by the same first name back at 5pm, with another party still ahead of me. At this point, I decided to leave, so that I could feed my family dinner. It is great if she wants to spend that much time with her patients, but really, then book them in adequate increments or provide wait times upon arrival - especially seeing I had 2 small children with me. Office staff was completely unapologetic. … Ironic that I had to sign paperwork that they required 24 hr notice of cancellation, but they can make me wait over 1 hr+ without explanation.

Dr. Grant is very competent and caring. Wait time may be a little long as the practice tries to accommodate patients with appointments for consultation and follow up.

Dr. Grant is the most thorough doctor I have ever treated with. She is dedicated to her patients, knowledgeable, pleasant and worth waiting to see. We would all be better off with more doctors like her.

Terrible and unhelpful staff. I called to set up new appointment, receptionist said the practice takes my insurance but they denied to see me because they didn't "THINK" they would take my specific plan. All of this without even knowing or looking up the actual name of my insurance plan.

This office is rude, the wait time absurd and the doctor is downright dangerous! The doctor looked at my 6 month old for literally 15 seconds and quickly wrote a script for two creams telling me to try these and call her in a week. When I went to my pharmacist to have them filled, he expressed great hesitation in filling one and flat out refused to fill the other citing warnings about pediatric use. I will not only not go back to this office but also am considering reporting this doctor!

First off I was told the appt for my 3.5 month old daughter would be on a Tuesday at 3:45. I drove to Clifton Park (45 mins away from where I live) only to find out that the office closes at 12 on tuesdays. I called the office the next day to ask why I was give this appt time when they are not even open and the Receptionist was very rude. She acted as if I was the stupidist person in the world and that as a new patient I should know when the office is open. After seeing some of these reviews I am extreamly glad that I was give the worng date and time so my poor daughter didnt have to deal with these Miserable people.

This is my second dermatologist and I could not have asked for a better experience. Yes you wait but, I would rather wait and have the Dr take the time with me rather than rush me through so they can make money. Her and her staff explained to me how I needed to use the medicine. If you would like to get in and out and have rude office staff...may I suggest a dermatologist in Schenectady. I would highly recommend this dr.
