I had bloating for quite some time and needed to rule out whether it was cardiac or another problem. I had to schedule but then cancel a few colonoscopies and an EGD because I couldn’t breath and had severe bloating for which I was told to get fixed before undergoing any GI procedures. I got so bad I was admitted to the hospital twice and when I came home from the hospital the second time I found a certified letter in the mail stating the Dr. Ergun was no longer going to be my doctor! I’m scheduled for surgery in 10 days and wrote her to let her know so was in the hospital for 20 days and wouldn’t be cleared from my cardiologist anyway for any GI procedure. I found this action very rude and u professional from this doctor.

Saw Dr. Ergun for the first time.. she seemed caring and wanted to fix my problem..I did test after test all arranged over phone ... when I wanted appt to revisit results etc. I was told I had to wait three months!! I should add after every test I received a call from the nurse that everything seemed fine. I had been suffering all through this which expanded over ten months... I eventually after months of pain I went to another gastroenterologist ... with all the results which I had released to me .. after a consultation he pin pointed the problem within two weeks I had my gallbladder taken out and hernia fixed!! Dr. Ergun is a disaster !!

After reading all the reviews from different patients, I totally have to agree with them. She might be a good doctor, but after her initial consultation and my endoscopy of have been unable to get any response from her with regard to medications and even her staff. They are rude and never return calls. It has been 5 months now that I am trying to get an answer to my questions, notwithstanding my 3-4 emails to her office requesting answers. I have now done my last fax and if I don't receive an answer, I will be reporting her actions to the Texas Medical Board and Ken Paxton, The Attorney General. She is not g-d and there are plenty of GI doctors, so anyone looking for a GI doctor, find another one. Find a doctor who cares and whose staff is not rude and obnoxious.
