Terrible, would never visit again. Didn't care at all

Dr. Najafian preformed a colon resection surgery for me due to a cancerous tumor. I can’t say enough good about my experience with Dr. Najafian! The surgery was done via robotically assisted laparoscopic. Dr. Najafian is certainly at the forefront of using today’s cutting edge technology! The operation went so well, I am nearly fully recovered and back to my daily activities only two weeks after the operation! I might also add that I am 34 years old and my diagnosis has been devastating to myself and my family. Dr. Najafian has been the most sincere, honest, and comforting person I have worked with along my journey thus far. I would highly recommend him and his wonderful office staff!

Dr. Najafian performed a surgery on me in 2019 to remove part of my colon due to cancer. He was always very professional, very friendly and the best part is he speaks to me like we are just friends having a conversation. Saw him today for another issue, wouldn't go anywhere else.

Yesterday I received a clear bill of health after having colon cancer surgery with Dr. Najafian three weeks ago. I was referred to Dr. Najafian by another doctor who does not do colon surgery. I found Dr. Najafian to be down to earth and truly concerned as he listened to all my questions. I did not feel like I was being rushed or just another patient. After our initial meeting he scheduled me for surgery the following week. All went well until the second week when I experienced pain. I called his office and he met me at the ER in Sun City in just a few hours, as I live 135 miles away from Phoenix. I had developed an infection due to my own actions. He hospitalized me and within days I was on my way home and now am completely well. No cancer and no further treatments. I am 77 years old and was treated with dignity and respect by Dr. Najafian and all his staff and associates. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs the best doctor for colon cancer… surgery. When I was diagnosed with colon cancer at age 47 I was scared, nervous, and overwhelmed with all kinds of emotions. I went to my consultation and after leaving that appointment I immediately felt at ease. Dr. Najafian was so easy to talk with, he explained everything in simple language, was very professional and just had this way of connecting. He has compassion and genuinely cares for his patients. He is respected by his staff and colleagues and has an excellent reputation. I'm happy to say I am cancer free thanks to Dr. Najafian. He is by far one of the best surgeons out there! I would highly recommend him!

Dr. Najafian is truly amazing! I had a fistula and major infection caused from diverticulitis and had gone to several doctors prior to him. After leaving the first exam I knew he was the one. He spends a lot of time going over things with you and answers all of your questions, he deserves to be a top doc in Arizona for sure. I had to have open surgery, temp illiostomy bag and he walked me through all of it. I feel he saved my life with how sick I was. What an excellent surgeon !!

I first met Dr. Najafian in the hospital after a bout of diverticulitis. Despite the severity of my condition, he counseled patience, and felt we could manage the problem conservatively. I have since seen Dr. Najafian on multiple occasions after flares, and he continues to recommend a conservative approach. If the time comes for surgery, I know Dr. Najafian will move forward with it. His outstanding reputation is well-earned!
