Dr. Hamid Mortazavi

Dr. Mortazavi was very nice and polite to me. He went over all of my results with me in a thorough fashion.

He didn't seem to want to listen to what I was saying. The staff was very nice, but it didn't really make up for his attitude. I got the feeling like he thought I was just a hysterical woman, since he didn't even acknowledge several of my questions (and I don't mean he just didn't answer them well, he continued speaking as if I hadn't said anything).

Went to see dr. mortazavi as a new patient. He said he needed time to look over the paperwork from other doctors. first. Never got back to me.

He listens and helped me when no one else could. Would recommend to anyone, anytime.

He seems to be the self appointed gatekeeper of all healthcare. I suffered from a loss of several hours of memory and was diagnosed w Transient Global Amnesia while in the hospital. I had other tests done & had "mild" arterial blockage to my brain & a cardio-vascular specialist told me I needed to see him on an outpatient basis. After I was released from hospital, I met with Dr. M to follow up, he told me I was depressed & if a similar event happened again, I didn't need to do anything about it. Never mind that I have a history of High Blood Pressure & could be suffering from a stroke! He also told me to cancel the appointment with the cardio-vascular specialist because in his opinion, I didn't need to follow up. Since when did his specialty change to cardio-vascular? On a positive note, his staff was nice.

Discharged me as a patient without notifying me.

My wife has been suffering from many symptoms that for the past 6 years that no doctor had been able to diagnose a specific disease. We saw Dr. Mortazavi and he did an exam and review of my wife's medical history. To make a long story short, he diagnosed her with Parkinson's disease. I can't tell you how happy I am that we finally found a doc who could listen to our concerns and get to the bottom of my wife's medical issues. She is doing well with her new medicines and we would highly recommend Dr. Mortazavi to any looking for a doctor that will listen and make an accurate diagnosis.

I called and talked to the office staff to see if the doctor was the correct physician for my son to see. I explain exactly what we were needing and looking for in a doctor to help him. When we actually met the doctor, he told us he was not the right person to see, wrote a copy of the prescription my son had been getting and billed us $345 for a 15 minute appointment to see someone we should have not visited. I wrote to the doctor's office about the issue and that his fee was nearly two weeks worth of my Son's wages, but I never got a response.
