Dr. Hampton A. Howell, MD

I was quite positive through Breast cancer and mastectomy knowing it was stage one. I am very disappointed with results. I ask him not to put over a 500 cc implant. He put 615 cc in each. After a year, I can't go without wearing a bra, even at night. Their heavy and I have pain. All he can say is, I dont mind if you get another opinion. This is not standing by your work!!! Wish I'd have gotten another opinion. And also looked at every review...not just on Salem website.

It was recommended that I pay extra to tighten my muscles in order to get better results and a flatter stomach. Which I'm so happy that I did. The bottom of my stomach looks good except Dr Howell didn't remove enough skin at the top portion of my stomach and when I bend over my skin sags badly like I've not had my stomach done and my belly button looks deformed. It's completely flat... During my follow up appointments Dr Howell kept telling me not to worry about it that he would take care of it but, when it came time and Dr Howell he said that I was approved to start my do my next procedure he was going to charge me over $5000 more on top of what I had already paid. I expressed that I didn't think that I should be changed because he clearly didn't remove enough skin during my procedure. Rachel in the billing office said that she had spoken with Dr Howell and lowered the cost down to 4,175 but that was the best that he could do. Which I still think that cost too much for me to pay… for his mistake! Please beware because Dr Howell clearly doesn't stand by his work. This makes me feel that he's just trying to get more money out of me for not doing his job right the first time. Dr Howell lost me as a patient UNLESS he fixes HIS mistake which clearly is in his best interest especially since he knows that I'm also having the excess skin from my legs, calves and having a breast lift with gel implants, but now I'm searching for another plastic surgery to finish my procedures. Does anyone one out there have any suggestions???? I wish there was a way to post my after pictures on here for YOU to see just how bad it looks. During my 3 month follow up he had his nurse to only take pictures of the lower part of my stomach and not the top portion. Please be aware! I just don't want to see YOU get the same results that I did. I'm so ashamed to let anyone know just how bad it looks. I feel sad, mad, deceived, hurt, frustrated, stupid and broke! Doctors should stand behind their work and fix their mistakes. This was an expensive surgery which Dr Howell and his billing staff (Rachel) both knew that I borrowed money to have it done. He also done my arms as well which look pretty good but then again he could have too off a little more skin there two but I can live with that part of my surgery but I CANT live with my stomach looking so bad!

Dr. Howell is very professional and personable. His nursing and front office staff are courteous and efficient. I highly recommend Dr. Howell for facial rejuvenation!

Dr. Howell is the only Plastic Surgeon that I will ever use. He is well qualified and his bedside manner is great also.
