Horrible experience. Walked in the room and told me I didn’t have myasthenia gravis despite good results with medication from his predecessor. Wanted to take me off all my meds and then if I got worse it could be proven. Condescending and hateful. I think he needs to do something else. Was glad I had already set up an appointment with another provider who is treating me thoughtfully and give me better quality of life. I wouldn’t gamble on this provider being helpful in your care.

My appointment with this provider was terrible. I wish that I had read the reviews for this provider, especially by women. I would have definitely cancelled the appointment. Uncaring, arrogant, dismissive, sexist, biased, mean, inaccurate. Easily the worst medical provider I have had the misfortune of encountering.

He was condescending, belittling and didn’t answer any of my concerns. I've since been diagnosed by a MUCH better colleague of his in the same office. I was advised to file a formal complaint and only didn’t because of how much I like the other provider in the same office. Incompetence covered with bravado. Run, don't walk, to someone else.

Arrogant narcissistic and cruel. I saw him once and that was too much. Belittled me. If you have a clear cut diagnosis he might be good. But if not he is unwilling to investigate. Would never recommend him.

In one visit, I had a diagnosis. Excellent doctor.

I was referred to Dr. Kushlaf because of his expertise in my own rare disease. I found him to be the unknown expert in this disease where I live. I'm glad I found him. He is honest, up to date on the research in the field, and know what is coming in the pipeline. He spent more time with me than any other physician I saw in the past including my primary care physician. I hope he stays in Cincinnati.

I have been seen by doctors for years and years without a specific diagnosis for my muscular dystrophy. I was given a generic diagnosis of muscular dystrophy. When I saw him, it seemed very easy for him to get me a specific diagnosis. In two visits, he told me the genetic basis of it and what were the next steps. He is an excellent clinician and I admire his bedside manner.

I have a muscle disease and saw rheumatologists for diagnosis. Glad I found this doctor who told me the diagnosis from the first visit while my family doctor and the rheumatologist are scratching their heads. I'd definitely recommend him. I find the negative reviews incorrect. He is pleasant and has an accent but speaks very fluently better than most. The wait was less than a minute and he has excellent bedside manner.
