Dr. Hari Kumaresan, MD

Dr. K has done amazing work with my son for the past several years. We have seen more than one psychiatrist who were often quick to make multiple changes at once - making it difficult to determine what was working. Dr. K has a very practical approach, listens intently to us as parents and shows compassion and patients with our son. I could not ask for a better provider!

A few meds for our son’s ADHD worked but the side effects were intolerable. Dr. K listened and had him try something else. Eventually we got it right. He didn’t just give up or tell my kid to take something anyway. The practical things he talks about with my son make good sense. We have considered changing doctors because we moved but decided to stay with dr. K. He has done a great job for us.

My son was seeing Hari K I don't believe he cares about children I know he's in it for the money he is a very disappointment to me I believe he didn't check his facts he had a nurse that was not any good but instead of seeing the wrong he blames it on somebody else of course the patient and there's no use of saying anything to the office manager cuz they're going to take sides with a doctor anyway no matter how much they lie I wouldn't recommend him to anybody.. the comments I have made I have facts.

Biased and unethical. He continued to prescribe a drug Strattera that had negative consequences for my son who was consequently hospitalized He never listened to feedback. In fact, he blamed me for my son's problems. He told me that 30% of my son's problems were because I was a divorced female. I reported the issues to fda Med watch. He has excluded my son from receiving treatment from the other reputable Cook's physicians. There is a reason that he has no patients and the other Cook's physicians in his call group do. He will shut you out of care at Cook's hospital due to his inaccurate diagnosis and arrogance. Avoid him.
