Dr. H. Krishna Susarla, MD

I am writing to express my concern regarding the conduct and bedside manner of Dr. Hari Krishna Susarla, MD, during my son’s recent visit. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing and left us feeling unheard and disrespected. Dr. Susarla did not demonstrate the compassion, understanding, or professionalism that one would expect from a pediatrician. His demeanor was abrupt and dismissive throughout the visit. My son had come specifically for a blood test that had been recommended, but instead of addressing this appropriately, Dr. Susarla dismissed the purpose of the appointment. He stated that my son should fast until 3 p.m. before taking the blood test. Considering that my son is a school-aged child who had been in class all day, this request was unreasonable and impractical. When I tried to explain that my other child had undergone a similar blood test without fasting and that this had not been an issue before, Dr. Susarla remained dismissive and showed little willingness to… listen or accommodate. His attitude came across as inconsiderate and lacking empathy, particularly in a situation involving a child’s health and comfort. As a parent, I was deeply disappointed by his lack of bedside manner and his unwillingness to communicate respectfully or explain his reasoning clearly. I hope that this feedback will be taken seriously so that future patients, especially children, receive the compassionate and professional care they deserve.

Been to this office three times each time my experience has been good.

Dr. Susarla denied my BP medication refill request from my Pharmacy, and made not attempt to communicate that the request was denied for over a week.

I've taken all four of my children to Dr. Susarla since 2008. I've never had any problems. Waiting time is short, usually less than 10 minutes, and same-day/next-day appointments were always available. Doctor is friendly and explains things clearly, and seems to enjoy seeing kids (he sees both adults and kids and my husband has also seen him). I would highly recommend him.

Very personable, great with my 4.5 year old. Didn't want to overmedicate, but wanted to get my son well and do a follow up in a few weeks.

Finding Dr Susarla was a godsend. I had been having symptoms of heart racing and chest pain and kept bouncing from one specialist to another only to be told all my tests were normal. I was frustrated that no one could seem to find my diagnosis. I went to see Dr Susarla and he did something none of the other doctors bothered to do - sit down and just talk to me! 30-40 minutes later I left the office with a diagnosis - no unnecessary testing, and within days I began feeling better. Amazing how having a doctor who listens to you makes all the difference! I would recommend this doctor without a second thought.

i'm in workers compensation i had a appointment 5 months ago. lack of doc Susarla never showed up and had to rescheduled. came back and took for almost 3 hours be seen by Dr susarla. Finely Dr susarla came to the facility were i was waiting for him, then he spoke to me with a very little of interest of what i got to say. He was very unprofessional and doesn't listen of what i was tell him. He went and put me back to work wile i have a meager injury in my lower back. 14 m.m tear and pinch nerve now since this Doctor couldn't do his job and determent what was wrong with me he was just thinking how can he make more money than doing his job right. Now i face going to court because of this doctor's lack and of a bad job ill think twice going to this doctor it was a very disappointing when i heard the result of this doctor

I was there for 3 hours. Terrible doctors office. Will NOT go back!!!
