Dr. Harmon Gareth Tobler, MD

Harmon Gareth Tobler, M.D., F.A.C.S., is the chief of Cardiothoracic Surgery at John L. McClellan Veterans Administration Medical Center (VAMC). He serves as the primary surgeon for the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences' (UAMS) Cardiac Transplant Program and is an Assistant Professor of Surgery. He received his medical doctorate from the University of Utah, College of Medicine, in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was trained in surgery at the University of Minnesota and in cardiothoracic surgery at Stanford University. A diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Tobler is a member of the American Medical Association, the Society of Thoracic Surgeons, and the International Society of Heart and Lung Transplantation. Dr. Tobler is certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery.
