I found the staff to be quick and efficient and the nurses I had were well oiled machine...they knew their jobs and the timeframe they had and were right on target. Dr. Patheja, was kind and gracious and listened to all of my concerns. He worked with me and offered me options. My husband came in and listened as well and he had no problems with explaining to both of us. The equipment is the latest in the field and the surgical center was outstanding. Had eye surgery. The staff is so organized and efficient. Dr. Patheja performed in a most excellent manner and the follow-up visits were informative and equally efficient. You walk into an atmosphere where you feel each and every one knows their job and is trying to do the very best for you.

I was told that if I paid an additional $1000 per eye for a "Toric" lens my stigmatism would be corrected so that my vision would get 20/20 or very close to it and I would not need glasses for distance. He did not gurantee 20/20 but talked it terms of 20/25 or so. To make a long story short my vision was significantly worse after cataract surger then before. It was so bad the eye had to be redone. The end result after paying the extra $1000 is that my eyeglasses are now significantly stronger because my corrective vision is worse. To make matters worse they require you to pay in advance of surgery. Does that sound like a business or a medical practice you would like to be involved with.
