Dr. Harry Karamitsos, MD

Honestly, the most compassionate, professional, knowledgeable OBGYN I’ve ever experienced! A gem of a doctor.

Dr. Karamitsos (Dr.K) Has been my OB/GYN doctor for 20 years when I first went as appointment my first visit when I was 29 years old I was unsure of of a few things with my health .I felt confident after he let me everything was going to be ok ..Some procedures ,need to be done to continue to have good health. very honest caring and sincere he’s a very excellent surgeon .I trusted God and Dr K with my life in his hands .every surgery I’ve gone through was successful with no scars , Quick recovery. My health is good ..he is a most patient kind and caring Doctor I know I will always remember Dr.Karamitsos.

I've been with doctor Karamitos(obgyn) since early 2000. He is always caring and concerned about my health issues. He always answered all my health questions. Always returned calls. . He does the best he can . He even went the extra mile when I went into a health crisis.

First time meeting with Dr. K and I was pleasantly surprised. Dr. K listened to my concerns. Dr. K checked me out and ordered me to do some blood work and x-ray and check back with him in 2 months. I'm looking forward to working with him!

Unfortunately he's the worse ob/gyn that I've come across despite being referred to him by one of his colleagues. I visited him months ago and expressed that my husband and I wanted to get pregnant but was having a tough time. He prescribed me meds and suggested I go get multiple ultrasounds. Almost $500 later getting tests done he has yet to call me to explain what my results are. I left NUMEROUS messages with the Advantagecare (worse physician group as well) team and I have yet to receive a call back...it's been a month already. I find it very hard to believe that someone of his caliber wouldn't follow up with his patients. In addition, I showed a colleague of his my labs and they said I should've been given a call due to the nature of the results. I'm highly upset but had to post. If you or anyone you know wants a MD's attention and a competent medical team please DO NOT contact him. Maybe he's too overbooked...couldn't make an emergency appointment to see him either. Good… luck!

I was lucky to find Dr. Karamitsos. I cannot say enough great things about him. More than impressed with his character he is a great doctor. Don't bother looking any further.

I recently had my daughter at Lenox and I would highly recommend Dr. Karamitsos, his staff members at Manhattan Physicians Group and the hospital team at Lenox Hill. Thank you!!!

Dr. Karamitosis and his NP Meredith are excellent providers....quality of care and time with the patient are outstanding.

This is our first child and wouldn't have picked a better Doctor to share this experience with. He's very caring and understanding. We love Dr. K and will have him as our next Doctor to deliver our 2nd child.

I came out HAPPY hearing TERRIBLE news!! He is the BEST doctor I have EVER been to! They didn't keep me waiting at all, I hadn't even filled out my forms yet, I had to finish them inside! He saw me right away, diagnosed a problem tons of doctors had missed, spent a lot of time with me, didn't make me feel bad- like most gyn's do- he is the ONLY doctor I would EVER recommend! If there was more stars to give, I would. Thank you so much.
