Dr. Heather Lindsey Bellanger, MD

I have been going to Dr. Bellanger for years. First for abnormal paps and now for my OB needs with my first pregnancy. She is absolutely incredible. It is so rare these days to find doctors who are both passionate about what they do and equally as compassionate towards their patients. She is just a wonderful person, takes the time to listen to you, and talks to you like you are a real person. Her nurse is equally as wonderful. I highly recommend Dr. Bellanger for any and all of your obstetric or gynecological needs!

I've been seeing Dr. Bellanger for years and you couldn't make me change for any reason. She is awesome! Very empathetic, doesn't rush you, great diagnostician, very caring, and makes you feel like you are being heard. She gives me great care. I wish I had known about her when I delivered my babies! As for the office staff, they have never been anything but amazing to me. Again, very caring, follow up with you, very empathetic, make sure you have everything you need. I'm lucky to have such a great physician with such a caring staff!

This office does not deserve to remain in business. My wife's doctor, Bellanger, while great at delivering children, lacks the integrity to address the multiple complaints my wife and I gave her regarding the rude and unprofessional nursing staff representing her in this office. By the looks of all the other 1 star ratings, things have not and will not change. Nurses, remember why you joined this industry, to help people. Your attitudes when addressing my wife's concerns with your attitude, incompetency, dysfunctional structure, lack of emotional understanding, listening skills, and flat out inconsiderate treatment of our experiences with you is appalling and you should be ashamed of yourself. Your customer service skills are on par with what I expect to get from teenagers working at a fast food establishment. YOU ARE NOT PROFESSIONALS, you are a stain on the nursing industry and should really just quit and go work for your local gas station because you DO NOT deserve the privilege of… calling yourselves nurses. We understand your work is stressful, but remember, you chose this industry. Your disturbing lack of compassion for patients experiencing difficulties getting pregnant and having to go through your inconvenient scheduling for fertility treatment needs to be corrected immediately. You blamed my wife for many of your stupid mistakes and should consider yourself lucky I was not present when you treated my wife like an inconvenience to you. What kind of establishment considers themselves successful when they treat the very lifeline of their ability to exist like trash? Your treatment of my wife led to many phone calls where I consoled her from a heart breaking experience with your idiotic personalities and demeaning nature. As for the person in charge of placing CANNED responses on these reviews asking us to call your office “with any questions or concerns, we’d be happy to help you”, How exactly would you help us? Are you going to inform your office manager or someone of importance that your staff is the main reason patients leave and are the cause of so many 1 star reviews, or will you mandate that your nursing staff participate in a customer service training with emphasis on the “treat others with respect” aspect? Or are you simply trying to meet a superficial perception that you “care enough” to reply to these reviews? Your staff DOES NOT work hard to provide quality care for everyone, these reviews clearly demonstrate you DO NOT, so stop replying with that nonsense. You cannot stop the bleeding on an axe wound with Neosporin and a band-aid, so why do you think these childish responses will fix your incompetent staff? All of you should be ashamed and are unworthy of being in this industry.

Words cannot describe how much I adore and appreciate Dr. B! I had a lot of fertility issues but she was always so optimistic, honest and did an incredible job of informing me of my options. She is very personable, professional and all around the best doctor I have ever had. I fully trust her with any and all OBGYN needs. She successfully helped me with 2 healthy pregnancies and I will never use another doctor!

Dr, Bellanger was very nice and made me feel very comfortable! She explained any and all my questions very well and spent a good amount of time with me! Her nurse was helpful but not too friendly but the front desk lady was very nice. AWESOME EXPERIENCE ALL TOGETHER!

I have been going to Dr. Licker (now Bellanger) for 5 years now. She was great help when me and my husband began having difficulty trying for a baby. She was there every step of the way offering guidance and consultation. After a second round of Clomid, I became pregnant and now we're expecting our first child. I'm not sure about the Medical Center of Plano for deliveries, but as far as OBGYN's.... Dr. Bellanger is fantastic at making you feel comfortable. She is a little quiet, so if you need to ask questions, speak up and ask. She answers them and stays with you until all your questions have been asked. I highly recommend her and i'm very picky because i've had a bad experience in the past.

In the beginning for my first visit she seemed nice even though she only spend maybe 8 min with me. I have severe female problems including heavy periods, cramping, headaches, and endometriosis. After the second time she seemed to care more about the money than me. She is very young and obviously has never had female problems so has no sympathy for her patients. Her nurse Heather is super rude. I told myself id never go to a male but after my exp with doctor Licker now Bellanger i will be rethinking going to a male doctor. Women who dont have female problems have no sympathy for you atleast a male doctor doesnt know what its like so they may have a little more sympathy.. Trust me, and find another doctor she maybe nice but didnt really know what she was doing. And when mentioned doing surgery she preferred to knock me a 26 year old into menapause. You could tell she would do anything to prevent from her having to do perform surgery.

The service was the thing that most impressed us with Dr Heather. Unfortunately not being there during the delivery was the thing that was most disappointing. Our daughter was discharged from The Medical Center of Plano at 35 weeks & 5lbs. After being home for one day she was unable to hold her own temperature and was life delighted to Cook Children's hospital which could have been avoided had we not been discharged prematurely. I would not recommend The Medical Center of Plano after this experience.

Dr. Licker is awesome and very kind but good luck calling in to make an appointment or getting your results. HER STAFF IS HORRIBLE!!! THEY NEVER RETURN CALLS!!

I have been going to Dr. Licker for four years. She delivered my son and helped me with a difficult miscarriage. I have referred her to several of my friends and they all love her too.
