Dr. Helen Butler Casteel, MD

Dr. Butler took care of me when I was a young very sick child admitted to the children's hospital in LR. I didn't know if I would ever reach adulthood because of the severe Chrones Disease I was diagnosed with. But today I help farmers all over the world feed people and have traveled to many different countries helping to feed the hungry. So with Dr. Helen's help I survived Chrones disease and have helped feed many millions of people . Thank you DR. Danny L. Boothe

Entire staff was rude and a complete waste of time.

Unfortunately for Dr. Casteel, her Office Manager and staff completely destroy her practice. The staff is rude, they don't effectively communicate with patients/parents, and customer service is non-existent. The front office staff experience is so terrible it's not worth dealing with it to see Dr. Casteel. As a physician, she is thorough, was great with our child, and provided a good treatment plan. It's unfortunate that she either doesn't know how poorly her staff treats patients and families...or she does and isn't concerned with it. I ignored similar reviews before our visit with Dr. Casteel and regret not giving them more merit.

When discussing scheduling for my daughter’s testing, she commented, “Well, you waited 9 years! What’s another week?” Front office staff incredibly rude. Inability to follow through with scheduling or lab work. Turned a woman with a baby away because she didn’t have $460 to pay upfront. I will regret till my dying day that I didn’t try to pay it for them.

Still haven't found our problem with my sons reflux but she doesn't give up! Excellent staff and I completely trust her.

She is a very caring and wonderful doctor. She has been treating my daughter for several years. We have no complaints about her or her staff.

Terrible staff, rude receptionist, nothing but a money hungry office that needs to learn how to speak to people with respect! I've never been treated so poorly....they call themselves professionals but they are anything BUT professional.
