Dr. Helen Strapko

I've been going to Dr Strapko for about 5 years, she's wonderful! The staff is wonderful! Nice clean pleasant office, never long wait times. I would highly recommend. Thank you, Pat L.

Handicap parking right outside of the door? Immaculately clean office, staff are all super polite and efficient? Dr. Strapko sees patients in a timely manner. Dr. Strapko is not only caring and extremely proficient in her field but she is also very personable and very easy to converse with. She took the time to speak to me at great lengths about my medical condition and then took time conversing with me about the varied assignments I've conducted in my profession and was genuinely interested by asking pertinent follow-up questions. I had a large size pilar cyst removed from my head. While she was performing the procedure she was dilligently explaining what she was doing (play by play) which is very informative and I'm sure many patients appreciate it. Personally I go with the flow and informed her I'm not one of those that needs my hand held (stated it rather too bluntly/abrasively than I meant it to be) as I've been through a lot of medical trauma in the last 6 years, just… do what you have to do no explanation necessary. Theatrics need not apply here... Dr. Strapko happily obliged, instead we carried on other conversations (mainly me doing all the talking.) She treats everyone regardless of appearance (in my case I'm of Persian descent & had a ragged in appearance beard) during the initial consult & admittedly looked disheveled and perhaps a little scary. As aforementioned, she treats everyone with the greatest amount of respect & does not judge. Dr. Strapko and her staff are professionals through and through.

My family has been going here for 15+ years. But recently have had horrible experiences. Most recently, my sister was blatantly made fun of by the doctor and nurse outside of her door in the hallway. The doctor was called out & Dr. Strapko’s response was “well I guess I should have kept my mouth shut.” When I had to have a tumor removed from my hip, her secretary was extremely rude to me & when I asked to speak to the doctor, Dr. Strapko began the discussion with “so I heard you had words with my secretary.” We will never go back again, sad since she has been our go to for so long.

Very disappointed that after getting a second opinion at another practice I was not welcomed back to see Dr. Strapko. Despite being a patient for more than 15 years I was told that it wasnt possible for me to come back and see Dr. Strapko since they had transfered my records. Ridiculous since my entire family also goes to the practice. Seems very petty and unprofessional. Do not recommend.

Both the doctor and office manager have a chip on their shoulder. Constant employee turnover. You ain't all that.

Dr Strapko is very professional and takes the time to answer my questions and explain treatment options, she is familiar with what my insurance will cover. I would recommend her highly.

Dr Strapko is wonderful. She is knowledgeable, kind, answers questions that you are able to understand and takes your concerns into why you are there. She is one of the best doctors I have ever seen.
