Hiva Bastanmehr, MD

Dr. Hiva Bastanmehr is board certified in Internal Medicine. She received her undergraduate degree at San Francisco State University and attended medical school at Ross University School of Medicine, West Indies. She finished her clinical training in Baltimore, Maryland, and completed both her Internal Medicine internship and residency programs at West Virginia University.
With more than 15 years of experience, Dr. Bastanmehr worked for five years as assistant professor of medicine at the University of California at Irvine, where she taught and served as the internal medicine resident primary care mentor. She also gained experience in the field of geriatrics with a position as internal medicine physician at the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs in New Jersey. She is passionate about practicing preventative medicine and helping her patients live healthy, happy lives. She is committed to whole health and patient-centered care and specializes in allergies, gastrointestinal disorders, …diabetes, asthma, hypertension, lipid disorders, stomach disorders and more.
Dr. Bastanmehr is a Palos Verdes resident and is looking forward to working with patients on the hill. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family.
