Dr. Hong-Thao Nguyen Thieu, MD

Dr Hong-Thao Thieu cut 2 holes in the uterus and 1 in the bowel in a 'minimally invasive' surgery for polyp and septum removal. She ruined my fiance's life at the age of 21 with massive scarring and left her likely infertile. My partner nearly died at home after being discharged before we returned to the ER. Things that show Dr Hong-Thao's character: - Underwent a surgery without reviewing ultrasound results - Allowed the IV to run out and stopped the surgery after plucking out holes in her vital organs and not checking inside with camera - Provided contraindicatory statements about her student being present (originally mentioned she was only there to observe, then later said she helped) - When visiting us after the ER visit, focused on the fact she would no longer be able to say she has never had an accident, rather than the lifelong pain she caused for us - Over a year after this traumatic event, never followed up with us once

I don’t understand those who rated her one star. Her bedside manner is amazing and she has a rare comic trait that few doctors I have seen have She is genuine, relatable, hysterical and most importantly very knowledgeable. I look forward to seeing her every time and HIGHLY recommend her to others!
