I saw Dr. Gitter for over two years, and he kept running the same tests and telling me there was nothing wrong. The first time I saw another cardiologist he ordered the proper set of tests based on my symptoms. I now have a diagnosis and am recovering; I suffered needlessly for YEARS, because of Dr. Gitter's incompetency. Sometimes he's nice and sometimes he's ridiculously smug - regardless of which disposition you catch him with, he doesn't have a clue - find a better cardiologist!!! He does have the best office staff ever in the Ridley Park office - they are very friendly, organized and responsive; (everyone except the woman who does echos), maybe seeing another doctor in the practice would be a good experience.

Worst bedside manner ever. Extremely arrogant. Felt completely rushed. Never once made eye contact when talking to me. And at the end if the visit, literally threw his business card and walked out and slammed the door. Unbelievable

This man is a hack and a bully. He over medicated my mother, and did not take time to explain anything to her in a way that made her comfortable and confident. 100% blame this man for all the issues she's now dealing with. Don't bother going to him.

I was a patient of Dr. Gitter's and recently switched to Dr. Ruby. Dr. Gitter spent an average of 5 minutes with me at every visit, had a horrible bedside matter, had no clue what was going on with my heart and kept ordering the same tests over and over again, still with no answers. Staff is very courteous. Go with either Dr. Ruby or Alvarez...

I am highly sensitive or reactive to many drugs. Dr. Gitter is one of the few Docs who worked with me to find drugs for my condition that had the least side effects. I feel perfectly at ease with his bed side manners. I am not rushed and he listens to my concerns.
