Dr. Charles Howell Tucker, MD

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had a a doctor's office. I waited 3 hours and when Dr. Tucker finally came in he was extremely rude. His tone of voice was very intimidating and he never let me talk. His first question was, "What exactly do you want from me?" I wasn't allowed to talk. He put his hand up to stop me at any question and he treated me like I was stupid for even asking. . Patients came in after me to see him yet I was the last patient of the day. (Which I didn't complain) My appointment was at 3 and I was still in the waiting room when a girl came in with a 3:30 appointment. Yet I was the last patient? I was just there for an exam and to find out my options on glasses vs contacts. He insisted I wear a prescription that is two times too strong for me.. I ought to be able to read a book that is sitting in my lap.. I won't go into the whole rude conversation but I can assure you I will never go back. I wouldn't recommend him even if he was free. I am still… shocked at how ugly he was. I left there shaking. The only bright spot in the whole experience was his staff. They were kind and courteous. I can only imagine how he treats them when he's tired after a long day.. he didn't even know me. I was pretty tired myself after sitting there for three hours but I wasn't ugly to him. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Dr. Tucker, and his exceptional team team has been taking care of our family for 26 years. What a pro and great person. With his patient-centric team you can't get any better.

Dr. Tucker is very professional, actually more so than a two years ago. He handles treatments with expediency and takes pride in a job well done. Bedside manner varies but he always does his best to give the patient good and professional treatment.

Office staff got me in and out as we navigated the new protocols due to COVID-19. Dr Tucker doesn’t want his parents to sit in the lobby so I was taken straight back to a room. I’m looking forward to getting fitted for contacts next week!

I appreciate the professional treatment Dr. Tucker offers. He is very talented and able to address conditions with treatments that resolve the problem. He is very conscientious in his handling of patients.
