Dr. Smithson just did my Carpel Tunnel Release surgery this week. Wonderful experience! Dr. Smithson has a great bedside manner and takes time to explain procedures. He also has an awesome sense of humor and uses it to put his patients and staff at ease in and out of the operating room. I highly recommend him for any of his procedures!

Dr. Smithson is AWESOME! You don’t find many doctors like him these days. He is a knowledgeable doctor who is very thorough with his patients, and his bedside manner is exceptional. He has done several surgeries on me, and I felt confident and at ease with him and the care I received every time. I highly recommend him to anybody who has problems with their hands, arms, or shoulders

Dr. Smithson was very thorough in his examination. He explained what he was doing and why. He was very thoughtful, patient and courteous of my needs. I was very impressed with Dr. Smithson's bedside manner and thoughtfulness. He is very knowledgeable. I would reccomend him to others.

I visited Dr. Smithson for the first time, after not being able to get in with Dr. Kiernan. He had new X-rays taken, and reviewed these quickly, as well as my history of past visits and conditions through OrthoVa. He was very gentle, but thorough in his exam of my arthritic hands. Due to a procedure I have scheduled for next week, he postponed treatment at this time to prevent possible interactions; but, discussed options we could consider after this other appointment is completed. He listened, and was very inclusive developing a plan that would best benefit my needs.
