I have been a patient at Dr. Tangoren's office for 10 years, and have had visits with both him and his staff. Dr. Tangoren has been respectful, knowledgeable, and competent. I have received excellent dermatological care.

I have stopped going to Dr. Tangoren because of the excessive wait times among other things. I have waited from a minimum of a half hour up to two hours before an appt. Checkups were perfunctory and I felt like they didn't really care about me. This practice has definitely gone down over the years and I won't be going back.

If you have the option to choose a provider when going to this practice, you should only go with Dr. Tangoren himself. The Nurse practitioner at this practice was extremely rushed and didn't necessarily want to talk about what was going on, instead just looked at my history and moved forward with her day. To the point where the medical assistant taking my history had to go chase her down so she could sign some orders for me. It was definitely not an enjoyable visit and I never look forward to going in, I feel like I'm only going monthly so they can charge for writing the prescription that has already been written for me in the past.

Dr. Tangoren, who is both my husband's and my dermatologist, is the best we've ever seen! He saved my husband's life several years ago, immediately noticing and removing a facial melanoma that didn't have any of the normal characteristics. You can trust him with your life! Plus, he is so personable that it is always a joy to see him.

Dr. Tangoren is great. he always remembers me even though I only go once a year. The staff is very helpful in getting any information I need. The wait is never very long my first appt I didnt even finish my new patient paperwork and they had me wisked into a room for the a visit.

I'VE HAD 2 APPOINTMENTS WITH THIS OFFICE. BOTH TIMES I ARRIVED ON TIME AND NEEDED TO SPEAK TO THE RECEPTIONIST AFTER WAITING 45+ MINUTES. THE WAITING ROOM EMPTIED DURING MY WAIT AND NUMEROUS PATIENTS WHO ARRIVED AFTER ME WERE RECEIVED. THE SECOND TIME I LEFT AFTER 45 MINUTES WITHOUT SEEING ANYONE. THIS ALL AFTER TAKING TIME OFF FROM WORK AND DRIVING TO AND FROM THE OFFICE. THE OFFICE MANAGER'S (WHO CLAIMED TO HAVE WORKED WITH MANY OTHER DERMATOLOGISTS) POSITION WAS THAT THE EXCESSIVE WAITS ARE STANDARD AND ACCEPTABLE IN THIS FIELD OF MEDICAL CARE. THEY WOULD NOT FAX ME MY REIMBURSEMENT RECEIPT SO I WILL HAVE TO WAIT FOR IT IN THE MAIL.

Dr. Tangoren is superb. He has awesome credentials and really knows his stuff. He is a superb diagnostician and very nice person. I only see him once or twice a year but he remembers me from visit to visit. His staff is great, too.

I had a horrible experience here. The PA barely looked at my skin during the "mole check" and was completely wrong about what some of what was on my skin actually was.
