Dr. Jaclynn Rae Clasen, MD

She should not be a doctor, let alone an OBGYN. She is cold, insensitive, and rude. We had to wait an hour to be seen, only to have her come in, spend 3 minutes in the room, and have the nerve to interrogate me when I asked one medical question. She did not even allow us to ask any other questions. And when she found my baby’s heartbeat, literally one beat, she took the machine away and didn’t let us listen to it, tell us what the heart rate was, or if it was normal. There was no concern from her for how we were feeling, any of our worries, or just that we wanted to make sure everything was healthy with our baby. She did not act like she cared about us or especially the baby at all. She is an abomination to the medical field.

This was my first visit with Dr. Clasen. She seemed competent but was not forthcoming with insights or information regarding my issues. I was NOT impressed with the nurse or office staff. The women at check-in were highly unprofessional, whispering and giggling, etc. The "nurse" was a disaster! Her manner was sloppy and distracted. She gave me no directions for undressing/gowning for the procedure, told me it would hurt "down there," and when the doctor asked for two items, she couldn't find them. Are these people serious? Is DMG no longer using fully trained nurses in offices? I will be looking at Cadence and hoping for better.

My regular doctor moved to Glen Elyn so to stay close thought I would try a new doctor. Big MIstake! She was cold, dismissive couldn't crack a smile and would not give my questions any consideration. I felt like just a number and she couldn't wait to be done with me. Do not go to this woman if you need a new doctor. Next time I will be traveling the extra miles to go back to my previous doctor.

I just saw Dr. Clasen this morning for a 30 wk check up. She's part of the Dupage Medical Group's rotating list of Obstetricians. I was so completely dissatisfied I've decided to transfer to another practice asap. She was rude, dismissive and cold during my appointment and she refused to answer any of my short list of questions. She suggested I take a labor and delivery class to get some answers to what seems to be a "desperate need for information." Absolutely no bedside manner. She didn't take the time to read anything in my charts. I was specifically concerned about some sharp pains I've been having that could be a UTI. Instead of testing me she explained that "pregnancy is uncomfortable. There is a baby in there. It doesn't always feel good." Wow. Unbelievable!

Who hired her? She doesn't care about you and will do anything she can to avoid helping you. Will make you feel stupid. Avoid her please. They must be short of doctors because if this is what DMG is reduced to be represented by then whoa...

I had never been to this doctor, but she was the doctor on call to do my csection since I went into labor before my scheduled date. I suffered major complications after my csection and she never bothered to come to see me after my csection or after the complications were discovered. Thank goodness by the time my complications were discovered another ob/gyn was on call to fix what was missed in my csection. From the little conversation (two words) that I had with her before my csection she has terrible bedside manner. Dr Cheng, who is part of her group is amazing. I would not recommend this doctor.

This was my 1st OBGYN apt after i got to knw about my pregancy. I was obvisously very anxious and excited to see my OB. Firstly i was made to wait 45 minutes before Dr.Clasen came to see me. She is not compasionate, seemed extremely bored & as if she was "forced" to be in the room. She was absolutely rude. We had question to ask , but she almost cut us off .... Absolute NO NO ...will never go back to her

I recently visited this doctor for a re-occuring yeast infection. Dr. Clasen informed me that its not a yeast infection but some other kind of infection. When asked about the "other" kind of infection, the Dr. replied "its just an infection and take the prescription".When i asked her that a pap smear was also due, she rudely replied "how am i suppose to know that, you should've informed the nurse"....the truth is i did and the Dr. never checked my file. I will not recommend anyone going to this oby-gyn.
