I would highly recommend Dr. Doering and his staff to anyone looking for an excellent primary physician. Obviously very bright, but he is also gracious, kind, he listens well, is attentive, and takes the time to explain any questions or potential issues. Let me emphasize that he treats me like a friend, not like some doctors that tend to "dictate" a bit to lesser informed beings. No, Dr. Doering really cares, and makes me feel like I'm important to him and that he wants me to know what he's doing, know what any issues are, and that he considers me more important than himself. I feel very cared for and cared about when I am there. And his staff is just as wonderful. One of those rare doctors that not only know what they are doing (he did attend UT Galveston Med School after all), but he does not let it go to his head, and treats folks as an equal. My highest recommendation. I am not young, and I have not experienced better.
