My experience with Dr.Bartruff was at a previous location. However, I have never forgotten for a second how excellent he is. He is the only doctor I have ever had that actually seemed to care. Furthermore, when I was in for another reason he detected an early prostate cancer that I was able to have a surgery to remove without any nerve removals. My life would be very different if it wasn't for Dr. Bartruff and if I can become his patient where he is now in the future, I will be very happy. Hence my office ratings are outdated.

Dr. Bartruff is the doctor that I have been searching for a long long time. He has a wealth of knowledge on my condition. I also didn't have to start at the begining with him, because he had already read alot of my chart, at least the most important stuff.. I am grateful to finally have found him.

If considering using this doctor, be prepared to wait for an appointment. Should you fall into the trap of acquiescing and accepting an appointment with one of his interns, you will be penalized by being dropped from the practice. This happened to me. After seeing an intern on three occasions due to the 1-2 month wait times, I was advised that since I hadn't seen the doctor personally in over a year, I was no longer a part of his practice, and would need to find a new doctor. Can you believe that? Very Catch 22. The doctor didn't even see the irony....

I'd like to add the growing number of patients who all agree, Dr. Bartruff was the best doctor I have ever had. I have had a very colorful and varied medical history over the past 40 years. If I knew if and where Bartruff set up shop again, I would be first in line to be his patient again.

Absolutely the best doctor I have ever had. Took time with me answered every question I had. Extremely considerate of my feelings and my pain. Very kind person and very knowledgeable of his craft. I respect this doctor very much.

I just had my first visit with Dr. Bartruff and I'm so happy to be his patient. He's incredibly friendly, entertaining AND I learned a lot (about him, myself and medicine) during the appointment. For those wondering, he's now at Kaiser's Interstate facility.

Dr Bartruff was the most amazing doctor that I have ever had. He truly took the time to fine out what was wrong with me, when I was told by so many others that there was nothing wrong. There is only one him, and with him not being at OHSU anymore it's a true loss. He saved my life, and cared.

Dr. B. is a fantastic doctor. Really, really smart, thorough, patient, has wonderful communication skills. I had been mis-diagnosed elsewhere and really suffered until he became my doc. He's not at OHSU any more. Where is he? I need him.
