Dr. James Francis Brown, MD

I was in need of a new PCP, my choice of Dr.Brown was catastrophic . I scheduled 3 appointments with Dr.Brown and he never took the time to introduce himself never mind concern himself with my health. I have type 2 diabetes and was concerned about a blister on my left foot. The first 2 appt. I saw a NP about and was told that everything was fine, and I just needed an appt. with a Podiatrist. No doctor. I got home from work after that and my left foot was swollen to 3 times it size and was red and distended. I took pictures and sent them to the "doctor". To make a sad and horrific story short, 30 minutes after I got to the ER my left foot was amputated. A week later most of my left leg was amputated. This will cost me thousands in medical bills at least and will affect the rest of my life. Avoid this man and Atrius health at all costs. I will be speaking to my lawyer. Atrius is now part of Optum. Do not use this person or Optum, if you value your health or bank account. DO NOT USE!

Friendly, articulate and organized. Listens to my concerns and usually has suggestions but appointments are relatively quick.
