Dr. James Kim, MD

Treats you like kettle, you’re just another $ to walk through the door. Disorganized, has no clue what’s going on, doesn’t even bother to look at your chart, at all, like whatsoever. We did some double ultrasounds because he was too lazy to look at his own attachments in patient file. Doesn’t address concerns when you bring them up. Doesn’t look at test results, nor does he explain any anomalies when asked. Worst, really..No respect for patients and their time. In the last 6 weeks, this dr flaked on two of my appointments, and now I’m forced to look for another OBGYN late in pregnancy…which get this, he’s now holding up providing my patient history release to other obgyn because he’s bitter. Like it’s not hard enough being pregnant. Then having to look all over for someone to take you in third trimester where majority of doctors refuse to take on new patients late in pregnancy. The last time I sat around like a total chump for over an hour only to find out this ”dr” wasn’t even in… the office. None of his staff even bothered to tell me he wasn’t there. On top of it I had to badger his nurse to call him and ask if he’s coming back, only for this dr to put her in voicemail. I also seen there was an invoice generated for my last visit- which I plan on calling the insurance company and letting them know he never even bothered to show up…AGAIN. He keeps getting bounced around by Amita, and now I you know why! If you value your time, and sanity, find another doctor to deliver your baby because this guy is not it. You don’t need the added stress and aggravation through what should be a happy time. Also none of these positive reviews seem real, as they don’t even contain any feedback- BEWARE!

I can't imagine any other gyn to see but Dr. James Kim. I will follow him no metter how far. He is excellent doctor I trust him ..He was in charge during my first and he will be in with my second pregnancy. I recomand Dr Kim everyone. We respect your profesional knowlege !

I heard for James from my friends, they all loved his work ( 3 of them were going to him during the pregnancy but in La Grange ) He moved to the Bloomingdale and I started going there. His only work was at my first appointment. I had app. every second week in the beginning. Each time they ask me my DOB , my health history, my address first few months every time. Dr James spent 5 minutes each appointment with me always in hurry. I've been told to arrive 15 min earlier what I do each time before my appointment. Besides those 15 min I always wait there at least 30 more minutes so 45 at LEAST! I really don't like going there. Dr Kim always react that I am first time there I think he doesn't know who I am really. He told me to do in 13 week and 20th week pregnancy two big test and that send him a letter for my results and he told me he never get them but I think he just didn't have time to look for them. From the place that I did those test they told me Dr Kim will tell you all other… info and he doesn't have them. What he told me was if anything was wrong he would know. By the time when I need to have 20th week big checking in another hospital he asked me why I am going there wooow. He told me to do those and gave me the phone number. Also machines does not working one time he did't hear my baby's heart and he scared us so bad. And he explained us that the machine is not working :( I have bad experience trying to find nice things about my pregnancy going to the Dr. NONE

excellent doctor. attended to my every concern and very caring. also the staff was excellent.
