Dr. James Joseph Blake, MD

Dr. Blake is an amazing doctor and an all around amazing person! I couldn't have asked for a better doctor when I went to the ER. And a month later when I took my mother to the ER he was her doctor too. I'd highly recommend Dr Blake. Very compassiate, caring, friendly and funny!

Amazing

My mother taken by ambulance after falling at the facility where she lives. I met her in ER, as ambulance was leaving. Long story short, we were there almost 5 hours. The ER I was told suppose to "put the patient in gown for full exam." This never happened and I was told just recently the the doctor was James Blake snice being investigated. . He never examined her while we were there, her socks and shoes never removed, and send home in pain in her ankle. Just told to check in with family doctor. After a week, called family doctor, she saw the bruises and swelling, ( she could not put on socks or shoes, wore slippers until family doctor examined her.) My elderly mother, age 86 sent home with 2 fractures. She was never fully examined, shoes and socks never taken off, just had shoulders and head and hip examined. Not a "full exam in gown." Sent home with 2 fractures in ankle. Couldn't walk, without difficulty, had to get her a walker. Family doctor asked who examined her sending her… home like this. Had to see orthopedic surgeon and in a cast 8 weeks, then therapy, due to Dr. Blake's not caring enough to examine her in person the proper way. The case is being examined. At 86, bones don't heal fast and easy. This Dr. Blake never spoke to me, at all. I cannot recomend him at all.

I love this doctor!! Could not ever find better!!!

I have never seen such a compassionate and caring Doctor in my life and I am 75 years old. Just his presence made me feel so much better after my fall and hurt back. He really provided better than excellent care for me.

Dr. Blake was me ER doc on duty when I was taken there from WCEMS due to very painful and frankly very scary Chest pains. He assured me from minute one that he and his team were going to take very good care of me, and that's exactly what they did. He explained every procedure and every test they were performing and why. He took the time to answer every single question that me and my family had about my condition. We can't thank him enough for being so thorough. A true gentleman, an amazing and very informative Doctor. I would recommend Dr. Blake and his wonderful team at St. Joseph ER to any and all who have concerns about their health or medical emergencies

Phenomenal doctor! Very sweet and caring, makes you laugh and I couldn't of had better care!

He acted quickly, and saved my 24 year old sons life. He is both professional, and REAL. Will always be thankful God put this dr in the ER when we needed him. Excellent Physician.
