Dr. James M Stankiewicz, MD

I've been a patient of Dr. Stankiewicz since 2009. I especially like him because unlike other doctors I have seen, he listens. When I first met him he asked me what I thought was wrong and agreed with me that I'd progressed to secondary progressive ms.

I've been seeing Dr S. for 4 about years. I like his direct approach and honesty. He takes my opinions into consideration when deciding on treatment. Bottom line very smart guy, i'm not looking for a friend in a doctor, just somebody who knows MS and can successfully treat me. This Dr knows MS. I would recommend Dr S. Also if you get a chance to see him speak at a conference, go. His talks are great. Wish he would do it more.

This doctor had very little time with me with no follow through. When I changed doctors I realized I should have had important blood work done on a continual basis due to the medicine I'm on. It took a new doctor to help me realize the incompetence of this doctor.

A nice man, but not very helpful unless your interested in joining clinical trials of experimental meds. The clinic itself is completely run for the benefit of big pharma, not the patient who is desperate and suffering. The whole MS system seems to be nothing but a big racket, more concerned with "prestige" than the patient's suffering.

Dr. S is MY doctor. At least that is the way he makes me feel. He is caring and gives the impression that we are in this battle against MS together. He is also very knowledgeable, honest, and forthright about the highs and lows of this terrible disease. I will recommend him over and over and over...
