Dr. Jay M Mergaman, MD

first 2 appts seemed interested in my situation, next 2 appts he could barely get his face in the compartment that served as a room. 5th and last had to see him at another doctor's office because he no longer had his (form what I was told at the time)

This “Dr” should have his license revoked because of how rude and dismissive he is. I’m just confused as to why he became a doctor if his goal is to dismiss all of his patients and their medical conditions. Would not recommend anyone on earth to see this man and I fell sorry for all of those who are under his “care”.

Dr Mergaman has been treating me for seven years for my lower back and leg pain. He has kept me out of the operating room and for that I am great full.

Dr. Mergaman is awesome. I would highly recommend him to anyone having back or spinal issues.He also has the best staff.

Dr Mergaman treated me several times for serious back pain. He is one of the most hands on doctors i know. His bed side manner is excellent, very informative and friendly. I would recommend him to anyone with serious pain.

Wow after reading these mixed up reviews it seems like a jeckel and Hyde thing I feel same I'm in so much pain I can't walk or sit knees ankle very swollen and the h disk in spine .new to the area I want to go see dr just to see who's reviews are right on but I'm going to have to side with my body and go with a dr who reviews are a bit more similar maybe try this one next if my choice does not work out thx all

I had spinal and shoulder injections with Dr. Mergaman approx. 10 yrs ago. It relieved all of my pain. But I think I need it again now.

I've read the reviews on this site . I am a nurse. I understand doctors. You have no idea what they must deal with. If you want to be babied, go somewhere else. He is to the point. He takes your ideas into consideration. He makes sure you don't abuse drugs. He tells you the truth. I've been to other so called pain drs. NO ONE has helped me as he is. He e concourages second opinions. Which have all agreed with him. I have a lot of problems. He helps me. There's ALOT of stress in what he does. His surgical staff is compassionate. Good luck finding another pain Dr. You may think Rothman is good due to all the fancy offices and many locations. Go ahead. Try. You won't like them either unless money and glitz is what's important to you. My husband goes there. He can't get his medicine because he is chronic... not acute. My last procedure was handled extremely well. I was in SO much pain, and EVERY person was compassionate and professional. They hold my hand through the whole thing. Try to… find a better doctor..
