Have never met a Dr so invested in his patient care. Just a wonderful doctor. His vast knowledge of his specialty is amazing.

After assured that stem cell transplant was and is necessary for my MDS caused leukemia (when all my red cells, white cells and platelets were being managed with periodic transfusions...I was convinced I needed a stem cell transplant to "survive". I never got a stright answer EVER as to the survival rate of the stem cell transplant....but I found out once this lunatics experiment stopped going his way and he told me I had 7 to 10 days to live and washed his hands of me. Fortunately my friends who work in the alternative medical field came to my rescue and we continued to do necessary blood and platelet transfusions along with lots of natural nutrients and I am regaining my health despite Hospice or massive radiation with 20% possible remission. I found out too late that MDS which can cause leukemia is totally managable with transfusions and various nutrient dificiencies adressed....but through fear and manipulation I was lead to believe I needed a stem cell transplant and that RIGHT UP… TO THE DAY he kept telling me everything was fine...I was told all of a sudden you have 7 to 10 days to live....REALITY CHECK/Translation: Mehtas experiment wasn't working so he took his toys and went home. A further look this guy's education isn't even in the U.S. nor does his years of experience add up unless he was in medical school when he was 13 years old...further research shows his wife and Hodgey friends got him in at Northwestern Hospital....very scary !!...

The best there is!

He cared for our dad while he was being treated for non hidgkins-then multiple myeloma. He is bar none the best in his field. When our family member passed away we asked to have donations go to the Dr in Leiu of flowers because we believe in the work that he is continuing in the blood cancer arena.

I have been seeing the doctor for years now. He gives my situation the utmost attention and undoubtedly cares about his patients professionally and on a personal basis. Highly recommended.
