Dr. Jeffrey Paul Lamont, MD

Dr. Lamont is The BEST! So encourage you to seek his advise if you have any oncology issues! He has been a SAINT with my sister ?(in Plano, Tx, and another dear friend's (in Paris, Tx) struggles with GI Cancer... Gallbladder and GI Duct Cancer! His concern, treatment and patient care is the absolute BEST! He will be your SOLDIER OF CHOICE in your battle! No miracles, but your Greatist chance I believe!!!

His office staff is horrible. They filed my I pre-Authorization wrong to my insurance. The insurance needed information to get it approved. I had surgery scheduled for the last day the insurance was good. The office staff told me they would be in contact with the insurance, I literally spent hours trying to get this authorization approved. I finally got it approved. I had had nothing to eat or drink all day, I had already had the dye injected in my leg and when I got the pre-authorization approved, Jan the office Manager wouldn’t put me in the schedule. I didn’t get the procedure I desperately needed and I now I am left with no insurance and way to pay out of pocket because I am a single mom. I desperately needed to know if the malignant melanoma was in my lymph nodes and have a wide incision done to see if the melanoma was still there. They were more worried about being paid then the care of their patient. Jan said “we had to ensure we were going to get paid”, yet she didn’t make… any efforts to get the procedure authorized. I spent at least 4 straight hours begging and pleading to get this done. And even when I did get it done. This dr.s staff would NOT let me get the procedure. I’m devastated by this.

Dr. Lamont did an outstanding Job treating me. He along with his PA Jessica are true professionals. Excellent bedside manner. I required three surgeries, and each time I felt at ease knowing I had the best of care. P.S. Office staff are a joy to work with. I highly recommend this great team.

Dr. Lamont was able to do what M.D. Anderson chose not to do in removing a large, neuro-endocrine tumor. Everything he anticipated came to pass. He is confident, but not arrogant. His staff is also phenomenol. Cannot say enough great things about him and his staff!

Dr. Lamont did a great job with my husband who had Whipple surgery 2 weeks ago and is doing very well. Dr. Lamont is personable, takes time to go over your questions. Best of all, my husband is recovering quite well. He was out of the hospital in only 5 days. Thank you Dr. Lamont.

Dr. Lamont is a great surgeon with even better bedside manor. He answered all my questions, made me feel comfortable with what was happening before it happened, and he answered his phone when I called. I highly recommend him and hope if I ever need a surgeon again, it will be him.

Couldnt get calls returned. Dr was thorough.

The wait time to see him was 2 hours. His staff does not work as a team and also took their time in waiting on patients. I didn't see any compassion and I should have gone for a second opinion. I felt I was just a number to him not a person.
