LOVE THE DR, BUT, ATTEMPTING GET A HOLD OF THE OFFICE IS ABSURD. ABSURD. NO EMAIL ADDRESS ANYWHERE, NO MESSAGING TO BE SENT TO CONTACT. IM SURE MANY PEOPLE WALKED AWAY, THE DR NEEDS TO BE AWARE, I AM LOSING THE LOVE FOR NYU, STILL LOVE THIS DR

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! MY HUSBAND WENT TO THIS DOCTOR TO DISCUSS ISSUE HE WAS HAVING AND THIS DOCTOR ONLY DIDN'T ADDRESS IT BUT WROTE AN AFTER VISIT SUMMARY MOCKING HIM. WHAT A DOCTOR!

I underwent a Urolift procedure performed by Dr. Schiff. I do not believe that the "informed consent" was proper as I experienced complications that I do not recall being mentioned by the doctor. At a follow-up appointment, I reported problems that I believe merited further investigation, but I do not feel that I was taken seriously or that my concerns were addressed appropriately. I would advise that you avoid this doctor.

Saw the Doc a few times.He took a biopsy,in addition to performing a few more tests. He offered options and together with my wife, we decided on an surgical option. Doc's communications with us was usually good. But not always. Eg, I was not told I would be intubated. The pre-op instructions arrive via USPS 2 days prior to the procedure.The antibiotics I was supposed to take were never ordered. Last Monday,I left instructions to have the Dr. phone me about my RX. No call back.Left the same instructions the following day.Again no response.Wednesday I told one his staffers to prepare my records/results so I could take them to my NEW urologist.I have never before needed a urologist. I therefore had no idea what to expect. Dr. Schiff may be a terrific physician. But the process he employs is awful.It may be the fault of his staff or the poor communication quality of the NYU-Langone website.But it's his name on the door,

Excellent Doctor. I was referred to Dr. Schiff from another Urologist for a Urolift procedure.Upon examination he found that I was not a good candidate for the Urolfift and recommended the Rezum procedure which he performed. I found him to knowledgeable, caring and compassionate. He did not rush and answered all my questions.

Referred to Dr. Schiff in 2015 for a Urolift procedure. Dr. Schiff agreed to treat both the top and the bottom of the prostate at the same time when he did surgery. After surgery Dr. Schiff informs me he only treated the top of the prostate leaving the bottom part untreated and almost closed off. He tells me he ran out of time and I should come back. Dr. Schiff lied to me and then later refused to fix his mistake. Look out for him.

I would not recommend Dr Schiff to anyone. I would even go so far to discourage anyone from using Dr. Schiff. I will elaborate further at a later time...

Long wait time because he was at lunch, just got out of training, was not impressed at all, ended up seeing Dr Katz my second visit and was very happy with him.
