Dr. Jennifer Rebecca Hill, MD

I had a very bad experience with Dr. Hill, and in my opinion, she is incompetent. I had a bad urinary tract infection, so she prescribed an antibiotic. She said if the culture sent to the lab showed that the antibiotic was not effective against my infection, she would contact me, and change to an effective antibiotic. The lab cutures take 24-48 hours for results. Dr. Hill never contacted me, so I continued taking my antibiotic. After 12 days, I was still in pain. I called the office, and was told my antibiotic was Not effective for my infection. For almost two weeks, I was taking medicine that would not treat my infection. The office told me they did not contact me, because the lab was backed up, and the doctor did not get the results for a long time. Not true. I got the lab results, and the report was completed, and sent to Dr. Hill in 48 hours, as it should have been. Dr. Hill finally prescribed another antibiotic, which I am allergic to, so I emailed her, to let her know, and got no… response. I called the secretary, who said that Dr. Hill insisted I take the new antibiotic. There were several antibiotics which would work, according to the lab, but Dr. Hill never got back to me. I did not take the medidine I am allergic to, and went to another doctor. I will Never return to this office!

Two years ago I had a serious urinary tract problem and a friend recommended Dr. Hill. Upon my examination I was told my problem was not a quick fix and that I first needed surgery. After surgery things were difficult but better and two years later I'm back to normal! Dr Hill is thorough, kind, and a most excellent surgeon. I'm so glad I met her.

I suffered from UTI's for over 35 years. I have seen 7 different urologists from Nassau County all the way to Riverhead. All prescribed antibiotics that worked for 3 or 4 weeks after which the infection returned. Dr. Hill was the only urologist who helped me get rid of the UTi's by prescribing a homeopathic powder I had never heard of and needed to order by mail. Along with a probiotic and cranberry tablets, ( which I have used before) It did the job in about 6/8 months. I am now UTI Free for 3 years because of Dr. Hill's suggesting this homeopathic powder. All those years I was taking various antibiotics I became resistant to one.

Dr. Hill is lovely but her office hours are not accommodating and the receptionists don't call back for a week.

She's great! Wonderful sense of humor and great personality. She puts you at ease no matter the circumstances.

Dr. Hills is very nice and pleasant to deal with but Hauppauge office where I go to is very frustrating to work with. If I need a prescription refill or even to get an appointment I have to leave the message in hopes someone will get back to me. I saw Dr. Hills the other day and she said she will send a prescription for a medication. When I went to pick it up, the pharmacy said no one send it in. When I called the office, the receptionist took a message to pass it along. When someone called with from No Coller ID number, they left the message they are send for the refill for the medication that didn’t work in the first place. Very frustrating experience and a lot of waist time.

Without Dr. J. Hill, I am certain I would not have the life I have today. She put me at ease and explained everything I could face post-op. I had been to two other Urologists, men, who did not satisfy all my gynecological questions as well as Urological questions. She was patient, kind and understood my nervousness. Dr. Hill Is a RARE gem. The staff at Dr. Hill's nice, neat office was courteous, and always willing to accomodate me as I live many miles from her office.

The staff was friendly on the phone to book appointment and in the office. Wait time was about 20 minutes. The staff in the exam office was great. Caring staff and clean environment. Dr. Hill was genuine and listened and explained. She did a scope which I felt no pain at all or discomfort. One of the best doctor experiences I've ever had! Everything was fine with me but if I ever have any problems, I would go back without question!
