Very disappointed in this doctor. I waited 2 hours, never got to see him.

They did a great job.If anyone consider getting carpal tunnel surgery I would see Dr,Rubin

Dr. Rubin is a professional. He and his staff are polite, cordial and very efficient. I never had to wait for more than a few minutes to see the doctor, unlike many other offices. I had surgery done on both hands by Dr. Rubin. Everything about the surgery was outlined and reviewed in detail by him and his staff prior to the surgery. After surgery he went over the medications and other important info with my caretaker. The day after surgery his assistant called me make sure all was well. I have and will continue to refer Dr. Rubin to friends and anyone else looking for a hand specialist.

Dr. Ruben and his staff were fantastic!! Everything went very smoothly just like they said it would. I would highly recommend Dr. Ruben for any problems for the hand... HEALING LIKE A CHAMP!!

I acquired a resistant Mycobacterium marinum infection in the right hand and wrist. I was referred to Dr. Ruben by my primary care physician. This was a slow growing bacteria. Dr. Ruben requested an infectious disease consult. Working together they defined a plan of therapy including surgical debreedement and antibiotic therapy. Their efforts resulted in a resolution of the infection with no loss of function and no pain. I was very pleased with the accurate diagnosis and the effectiveness of the plan of therapy.

I am 58 years old and I have had advanced crippling rheumatoid arthritis for about 30 years. Since beginning with Dr. Rubin in his first practice over 20 years ago, I have required multiple hand surgeries, including joint replacements and fusions, synovectomies, and tendon repairs. My fingers don't "look" normal, but they are functional and would be totally useless had I not had these procedures done. For those of you that worry about scarring, Dr. Rubin is a plastic surgeon too, so incision scars are very minimal. Occupational therapy hurts. There's no getting around that. Here's the good stuff: I can type about 65wpm. I sew, make quilts and knit. I cannot grasp and do the push-pull on brooms, mops or vacuums and this doesn't bother me one bit! I do not lift heavy things or pull on things, like weeds. I have seen work done by other hand surgeons on people in the rheumatologist's office and I would run screaming from those doctors. Dr. Rubin is a brilliant doctor. I trust him… with both my hands and my heart.

This office if fast, effective and courteous. I have read some of the other reviews and have never felt like that here at this office.
