"Joan Altman Neumann, M.D., is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist with Women's Contemporary Care Associates (WCCA) and is affiliated with Winthrop-University Hospital. An experienced physician who has practiced both privately and in a hospital setting, Dr. Altman Neumann is adept at a wide range of medical services, including pre- and post-natal care, gynecologic surgery, maternity and delivery and menopause management. She is certified in advanced surgical procedures such as Novasure endometrial ablation and essure tubal ligation. Dr. Altman Neumann was previously in private practice. Before that, she was a staff physician at Montefiore Medical Center and Queens Hospital Center. Dr. Altman-Neumann earned her medical degree at the New Jersey Medical School of the University of Medicine and Dentistry-New Jersey. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and an internship at Jersey City Medical Center.
