She kept me on a birth control that was causing me to bleed irregularly and when I went to another doctor she told me I shouldn’t have been on the bc with how high my blood pressure was and that the bc was causing it. Dr. Holoka and I had argued about it at my appointment and she just walked out of my appointment. Worst doctor ever. Hates female veterans.

Very caring & considerate of my 'big picture' in relation to how all the tiny bits play a role in what treatment plan might work. Dr. Holoka knows a lot about a lot & is a great communicator who fully understands that listening is the 1st step in the care process. The extra time she takes with you makes the wait time acceptable/expected. Her exemplary knowledge of the importance of balancing female hormones & the domino effect this has on a woman of any age is rare! I'm thankful to have her as my VA primary care physician.

She told me I had cancer and scheduled me for surgery within one week. I was so devastated by the news, only to find out that I never had cancer. She removed my uterus and falopian tubes for money. I am simply heartbroken after losing my womanhood to this "woman." She is a very caustic and a spiteful person and I hope that someday, somebody gives her a taste of her own medicine.

Dr. Holoka was able to diagnose what others could not! A+ in my book!

I went to Dr Holoka with my first pregnancy 23 years ago. She was very conservative and kept a close watch to symptoms that started to appear at 26 weeks. Her concern and extra testing was spot on. She had a close eye on my pregnancy and I had to deliver early at 35 weeks. My little girl was healthy. Her explanation of everything that was going on was helpful as this was my first pregnancy and it was not following the "books. When I started having early menopause symptoms and had read about Bio identical Hormones, Dr Holoka explained them in detail. It was my choice to go that route. I also had issue with my cholesterol. Most Doctors would take out the pad and prescribe Lipitor or another Cholesterol drug. Dr Holoka worked with me on Vitamins and modifying my diet. South Beach Phase 2 was one of her suggestions. I already go to 4 spin classes a week so I had the cardio exercise I needed. Dr Holoka spent more time educating me than any other doctor has with myself or my children. It… was a great disappointment to me when she choose to leave Illinois. I would tell anyone to be prepared that she runs late. I worked around that by calling to see how she was running. Some people may feel this is bad but I feel that the time she spends with her patients is what being a doctor should be about. If you want someone to help you with Menopause- Thyroid Problems - Cholesterol problems - Nutrition in general - Dr Holoka would be a great choice to educate you and help you feel better.

I came to Dr. Holoka for help in alternative medicine and BioNetics. She instead prescribed for me the most expensive cholesteral drug on the market. She also prescribed the most expensive PHARMACEUTICAL instead of the Bionetics for which i came. I am very, very angry and feel taken advantage of.

Have you seen her on the Internet pushing her snake oil? She's a pathological liar who only treats/prescribes for the kickbacks and the money. Horrible doctor, horrible person, disgraceful woman.

Great bedside manner, takes a great deal of time with her patients, and good at answering questions. She isn't eager on giving medicine, but if you need it she will give it to you. If you request it she will look into it for you, but she will only do what she feels is right.

Waited over 1.5 hours for the doctor to come in my room. No regard for other peoples time. Too busy talking nonsense.Time for a change!

Always pushing pills. One pill for this problem and another one to control the problems the first pill caused. It never ends.
