went in to talk about options have a bone on bone knee problem. Wow! This doctor seemed to be in another world or troubled by something personal. his personality was the worst and rude like. do i judge on that and go ahead with surgery? thatch the question?

He sat down with me, being very compassionate, to give me some devastating news which made me lose all hope, but then he gave me some advice based on his own testimony that changed my life and literally saved it! I needed a double knee replacement but too heavy for surgery and in too much pain to exercise. He explained how he lost 100 pounds and kept it off and told me to research Dr. Jason Fung and follow his protocol. Less than a year later I have lost over 100 pounds and still losing weight, but also my knees and lower back don't hurt anymore so I can probably keep these knees for several more years even though they are literally both bone on bone. Nearly every health problem including sleep apnea cleared up in 2-6 months even ahead of most of the weight loss. Even friends, family and my PCP are either doing this or looking into it! Not only was he very compassionate, treated me with dignity, connected with me as a person, took all the time I needed to answer my questions and my… husband's and even let us tell him some personal things about us and what we were going thru... all that PLUS he gave me some of the best advice I have ever had in my entire life that changed it forever! Dr. John Garcia is certainly my hero!

I think he is overworked or something. He yelled at me because he thought I had looked out of the exam room to "rush" him and I didn't even know he was outside the door. Then when he came in finally, he doubled down on criticizing me. I have chosen a different surgeon because he clearly had some kind of issue with me; I think he is nice to some people but rude to others.

Received a partial replacement on my left knee, Dr. Garcia is the best man for the job.

Second visit. I had not made progress on his required changes re: weight loss. He did not even sit down, but stood the entire time with arms crossed and even his ankles crossed. Clearly he did not want to spend any additional time with me, but I did have a few questions. Never have I seen a doctor who did not even sit down to talk with me during an appointment.

Dr Garcia is a thorough and talented surgeon. Wonderfully kind and caring. I have recommended him to everyone who needs hip or knee help!

Easiest joint surgery I could have imagined.

Excellent care. I had surgery one year after the other on my knees due to ski accidents.

Doctor kept repeating same few words, refusing to offer any additional information, and finally became impatient and shouted at us. Time spent with patient on follow up was so short and dismissive that we finally just gave up and went away.
