Dr. John Elbert Greene, MD

Dr Greene is retired. He no longer practice.

I had attempted to schedule afternoons, however they didn't have an open afternoon appointment available for 2 to 3 weeks! When I finally did get to meet the doctor, he spent very little time with me and was condescending with how he talked to me. I went to another doctor to get a second opinion. This guy is so old, I wouldn't trust him to operate on me. I would say it's time to retire; he's at that age when people start to get dementia, Parkinson's, and tremors. I would not trust him to operate on me anymore.

I have been seeing Dr. John Greene since 1994. I believe he is an excellent Urologist. He has a passion and understanding about what he does. He takes time with me and makes sure I understand my options about treatment and care. I believe him to be thorough and knowledgeable. Sometimes, the waiting room can be a bit backed up, but that's what you would expect from a good doctor. He proves that he cares, as he is known to call patients after working hours to relay test results and follow up information. He is a hard working doctor that would rather spend his time treating patients than on the golf course. I highly recommend him.

dr greene's nurse is terrible,instead of the dr inserting the scope to do a bladder exam he has the nurse do it.she was very rough,caused extreme pain and profuse bleeding.switched drs to dr youngman.he redid the exam and also did an operation to remove a small cancer.very little pain or bleeding on exam and operation was easier then dr greenes exam.horrible the way i was treated at dr greenes.
