Dr. John Felix Waller, MD

Still in pain everyday 30 years later from bunion surgery. No follow up. Was annoyed I came back and was in pain. Should not be allowed to practice medicine.

I know Dr. Waller for almost 40 years and he reconstructed my ankle and did an extraordinary surgical procedure. He also operated on my bunion and both surgical procedures were extraordinary. He is very caring and any diagnosis by him can be counted on to be extremely accurate. I highly recommend him and advise anyone considering seeing him, not to hesitate one second.

Was sent to him, for an IME. I just received the report today. I fully expected him to state that my injuries don't exist (I know the game), but his entire report is fabricated and fraudulent. He submitted a very detailed report, including paragraphs of measurements and tests, etc. He did not do ANY of the things he reported he did to me! My 9 year old daughter was with me. Initially, I was going to have her film the exam (to make sure I was examined appropriately). When I told him, he completely freaked out and made me leave. I called my attorney, and they suggested just get the exam done since I was already there. I guess he didn't think that my daughter was smart emough, or paying attention. He was very wrong. She just looked over the report, and stated, "Mommy, we were in there for less than 3 minutes. He didn't do any of these things during that time. He is a liar". Well, I have a witness. I suppose he didn't bank on that. FYI - I can't submit this review without… giving an 'overall rating', and it doesn't allow for zero. That is the ONLY reason I gave a '1' star. This doctor should not be practicing medicine. Complete fraud.

IME SCAM DOCTOR! BEWARE!!! HIS REPORTS SUBMITTED DO NOT REFLECT WHAT TOOK PLACE AT "EXAMINATION" IN THE STATE'S POCKET. LIAR!

fabulous outcome from surgery

I went to see Dr. John Waller for bunion surgery. He told me he'd performed this procedure for over 30 years. It was simple and I would walk out of my surgery with a cane. Although my toe did not appear to have any significant issues it had reached the point where I would think hard and long if I had to walk as little as a block or two so I went forward. I did walkout of surgery with a cane and initially, it appeared to be healing well but within five or so months the four adjacent toes were grossly misshapen and I went to see him again. He told me I had developed "hammer toes" which I did not have before this surgery and he went on to say that it usually took years for them to develop. He offered no explanation nor did he offer to correct this deformity. Much later I realized that it was because he knew I would, in time, develop hammer toes from the surgery he performed. One doctor I saw to address my problem said "Dr. Waller did this to you? He did the wrong surgery. … I know him ." I replied "Unfortunately, so do I." In time, I had another surgery to correct my hammer toes. I'll never understand. Doctors take an oath to do no harm. He deserves minimally NO STARS AND PREFERABLY MINUS STARS but this site does not allow you to.post unless you give the doctor a star.

I had bunion surgery on both feet by Dr. Waller and had excellent results with minimal downtime and discomfort. I found the entire process from start to finish to be professional, organized and well thought out in every detail. I recommended several people to Dr. Waller for this same surgery, all of whom were equally pleased as well.

Looked at me for less than 5 minutes and never asked me if I felt pain.
