Dr. John Anthony Glaspy, MD

I could never thank this man enough. My husband was diagnosed with lymphoma when my daughter was only six months old. Doctor Glaspy worked very hard, my husband received 18 years of superb care . Our entire family will be forever grateful for Doctor Glaspy, Denise and Maria. They are truly the best!

Melanoma metastatic. Told me I was not BRAF. Sent my biopsies to Sloan kettering and Belgium. His office was in disarray and his staff was ridiculous. After IL2 which did not work he sent me off to radiation on my face without any encouragement about what would be next. Screwed me up Finally went off to a new doctor and new clinic and was poster child for BRAF. After starting treatment at Angeles Clinic got a call from a doctor at UCLA telling me there had been a mistake, what a surprise, and I could join their big trial. NO. Jerks Glaspy sucks. Horrible. He needs to stay out of patients faces and in the lab wit the rats

My initial consultation was maybe five minutes. The doctor told me that he did not care if I took a medication that would lessen my chances of recurrence, and that he is more concerned with saving lives than saving breasts. Bedside manner is a zero. He may be good at what he does in certain areas, but was not a good fit for me. I had just had a mastectomy and radiation and he showed zero empathy or concern for my continued care.

Glaspy spends, at most, five minutes with each patient. Why? Simple greed. He runs from office to office seeing over 100 patients a week. He orders tons of expensive tests so he can generate lots or revenue, makes over $1.0 million a year! He completely missed my sisters cancer recurrence, didn’t bother to look at her labs. When she passed out while at work the hospital where she was taken immediately diagnosed the recurrence of her lymphoma. He is a disgrace to his profession and incompetent.

This doctor does not treat people. He treats disease without examining or testing. When I questioned his plan he told me to find another doctor.

Just met wth dr gaspy.... he welcomed my questions and really listened to my concerns. I thank him for that

Dr. Glassy has ZERO bed side manners. Assumes no responsibility of anything that occurs in the office. He is by far overrated as patients loose their voice in their battle with cancer. This doctor does not want to hear anything, he is arrogant and is rude. Shame on UCLA for allowing this behavior.

Dr. Glaspy is a life-saver...literally. I wouldn't see anyone else!

I went to Dr. Glaspy for a second opinion for breast cancer in April. He spent a great deal of time with me and had read all of my reports dating back to 2002. He followed up with a written report to my oncologist (who told me she referred me to him because she knew he was going to be 'straight forward' and give his honest opinion. He helped me see I had choices. He gave me hope and he never made me feel rushed or unimportant. Just the opposite. He was wonderfully direct and engaged me in my decision making and gave me a wealth of information that was not disputed by my oncologist. I found him to be absolutely wonderful.
