Dr. John Howe Kim, MD

Dr. Kim doesn’t listen to concerns. I came in with test results showing a clear luteal phase deficiency and he asked me a few questions and told me that “I have nothing to worry about”. He then asked me what did I expect out of this appointment. I don’t know, maybe some legit medical help with my issue perhaps? What kind of question is that? He did the absolute bare minimum and I will not recommend him at all. Doesn’t care about patient’s needs or concerns.

Very, very disappointed with Dr. Kim! I am a young female and I am healthy for the most part, was having some issues recently and I went to see him. He did NOT address my symptoms whatsoever. It was very clear that he didn’t care. He was in and out of the room. He made me feel very uncomfortable . I left his office feeling VERY upset and confused.

Horrible bedside manner. Won't look at my transferred records to familiarize himself with my situation and then treat me accordingly. Instead, walks in, does the bare minimum and leaves. Doesn't review and discuss labs. Doesn't seem to care about your concerns. You are left feeling unheard and with a ton of questions. You definitely leave feeling confused and like just another insurance claim. I am infuriated with the lack of empathy he has now shown me on 3 occasions and It makes me feel like he's in this businessfor the wrong reasons. I wont be returning.

I saw Dr Kim because my primary doctor strongly encouraged me to see Dr Kim now rather than wait 2 months for the doctor I wanted to see. He’s not very warm or friendly. In his summary notes he said I was fat and couldn’t do a more thorough exam. Body habitus simply denotes a lack of skill on the doctors part. So all you thick girls need to move on there is nothing to see here.

I thought with all the great reviews talking about how far they drive to see this doctor and how lucky LVHN was to have him that he would be at least a good doctor. He was cold and all business. Not impressed. I know I won’t be going back. Why was I not surprised , after all it’s LVHN where bad bedside manner is the perfectly acceptable norm and not the exception.

I visited this physician for my post partum visit after my first child, because none of my usual physicians were available for an appointment. I gave him two stars because he had basic manners such as introducing himself when he walked in the room, and listening to my concerns. However, as I mentioned my concerns/symptoms, he looked at me like I had 3 heads. He told me he had never heard of the symptoms I was having, which is crazy to me because there are plenty of other women who have experienced those symptoms. I only knew this after having talked to my usual ob/Gyn and other moms. I wouldn’t recommend him to any of my family and friends.

I have been seeing Dr. Kim for over 6 years and he has delivered all 3 of my children. He is an amazing doctor and answers any and all of my questions. During delivery he is very hands off and lets your body work naturally, however, he will get hands on when need be. He recently just started working with LV Health Network and I will be following his practice. Hopefully the new staff is as wonderful as his old staff was

Dr. Kim has terrible bedside manner. This being my first pregnancy I would appreciate thorough answers to my questions, which he does not provide. He seems bothered when my husband or I ask any questions. I am now seeing another doctor.
