John A. Hefferon, MD

Dr. Hefferon has kept me up and moving. I'm a very active 58 year old male. I have had some cartilage and meniscus issues in my knees from previous sports wear and tear and needed to have both of my knees scoped for debris and to trim meniscus tears. Overall I have been able to continue bike riding, some volleyball and frisbee and moderate skiing (with knee braces). I have had cortisome shots as needed and, synovial fluid injections (Euflexxa) to keep myself mobile and active without any knee replacements. I have also had surgery on my right elbow, were a bone growth from an elbow related impact fall was cutting into my tendon. Debris was removed and my elbow is back in better shape now. I recommend Dr. Hefferon at NW Orthopedic.

Dr. Hefferon was nice and performed surgery on both of my feet. I am only starting my post-opp care and ever experience I have had with the women in his office has been unprofessional, uncaring and frankly, they should not interact with patients. One hung up on me and another was admit about pushing my appointment back although I was instructed to come in earlier for my first post-opp appointment, leaving me to feel concerned about my bandages and possible infection. I will be bringing this up to Dr. H so he knows but if they don't straighten up, I will be looking for another physician with better staff.

Suprb Right Knee Replacement and recovery

Dr. Hefferon was recommend to me by my trainer. Scoped my knee in 2003 and my recovery was very successful. I had a great PT and Dr. Hefferon called me twice to follow up after my surgery. Knee is good as new.

I can't speak highly enough of Dr. Hefferon's professionalism and skill. My surgery was so skillfully performed that my recovery has been a breeze.
