Dr. John Peter Lubicky, MD

Dr Lubicky is a great doctor , he’s good at what he does! That is for sure . He has done many surgeries , not all were success but most of them were . I have a surgery coming up for my severe scoliosis and I’m hoping for it to succeed ! Thankyou dr lubicky for being a great dr and always having great manners!

Caused my brother to lose his leg cause he put a cast on his leg too tight back in 2008

Dr. Lubicky treated my son from 3months to 18 yrs. Excellent doctor. My son had Pffd. Proximal femoral focal deficency. (Short femur) He had 21 surgeries. Wonderful experience with dr. Lubicky. Anthony loved him and so did we, Let alone Shriner Hospital staff being excellent. Everytime my son had surgery, it was like going to heaven and the people knew what was important. Their children! We couldnt express how we valued DR. LUBICKY. He was just wonderful!!!! 21 stars from us.

He’s the best! In 1994 I travelled from the Springfield, MA Shriner’s Hospital with my surgeon to the Chicago Shriner’s Hospital to have Dr. Lubicky fuse my spondylolisthesis using the relatively new (at the time) pedicle screws and rods. This was after a previously failed fusion. Dr. Lubicky is the upper eschelon of pediatric surgeons. His mastery of the spine trumps any complaint of bad bedside manners. I would trust him with my own family.

You can not ask questions to this man. He will not answer questions. He is sarcastic. He isn’t respectful to women. I have never been so disappointed in WVU medicine and I have been doctoring with WVU for 10 years. I hope and pray he correctly diagnosed my child. He isn’t worried about reassuring or answering our questions...he got our money that’s all he is worried about.

So... where to begin. How about the fact that he basically told me my pain was imaginative, it never existed and then yelled at my parent. I thought that he was probably really good at what he specialized in but had little experience with my rare condition and tried to take the blame off of him, come to find outttt about a month later I have mild SCOLIOSIS (part of what he specializes in) which was causing my pain and a herniated disk. So thanks doctor lubicky, you are absolutely the worst doctor I have ever seen. No bedside manner at all.

Dr. Lubicky has absolutely NO bedside manner. My appointment with him was honestly the worst I’ve ever had and being one with several chronic illnesses I’ve seen a lot. He was absolutely the worst. He treated me like I didn’t know anything about what I went there for OR the illnesses I’ve already had for years. He takes no responsibility for his actions he definetly has a “godly instinct.” I will never go to him again and I do not recommend him to anybody

1987 did my scoliosis operation at upstate in Syracuse. Still going strong. I'm a 1992 grad of WVU. Good to see he followed me there. Ahhhhh. Thanks doc for your professionalism and expertise. Sorry for throwing up on your team during the operation. Go Errs!

I am a patient if Dr. Lubicky s back about 35 years ago. I was born with severe scoliosis malignant hyperthermia and muscular dystrophy central core. I would have been wheelchair bound and probably died at a young age. But thanks to Dr. Lubicky and all my surgeries I am a 45 year old adult with two wonderful children. He is the best there is!! If you r ever in doubt and u need to find the best for your child in the orthopedic department he is the one and only. My parents wanted the best and he was the best choice ever.
