Dr. Roberts saved my life. I was misdiagnosed for nine years by a different orthopedic surgeon. He was treating me for bursitis. Off & on PT. & 9 yrs. of Celebrex.I had a collapsed disc level four and five osteoarthritis, and degenerative disc disease. Was recommended by a friend who had previous back surgery. Dr was friendly and spoke with me . Brought CT scans with me showing the issue as well as comments from chiropractor. Unfortunately I don't believe the scans were viewed and was sent home as a muscle issue. Second opinion with another Dr found the issue within 5 min. Treated me on the spot with steroids-and i was able to sleep for the first time in 12 days . So while he did not cause me harm I felt rushed and overlooked, and most importantly received no diagnosis, while still paying for the visit

Dr. Roberts had the best bedside manner of any MD I encountered. I have recommended him to multiple people seeking medical treatment and surgery of their spine. I had L4-S1 spinal fusion lamenectomy with Harrington rods and I feel so much better.

He did a spinal fusion of L,5 S,1 on me and I haven't been able to walk correctly since. I have been in constant pain and he could have cared less. Once he cut , he was done with me. There was no effort on his part to figure out a solution.

Dr. Roberts was exceptional!! He replaced three of my disks due to degenerative disc disease. After five years I am still pain-free!!! I highly recommend Dr. Roberts and Cincinnati Spine Institute!!!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Roberts. He is conscientious and thorough. When he realized that he was not the best fit for the particular surgery that I needed, his office worked with me to find a specialist. His lack of ego is refreshing--truly a surgeon that inspires confidence.

Dr. Roberts actually listeneded to me, as a patient who has been suffering for years with back pain and listened when I told him my quality of life was severely suffering due to the complications surrounding the back pain.
